Eventually Balki decide to tell them just how far he in line for the throne but Larry tries to stop him so that he could tell his idea.

When Larry learns that contestants have to do sloppy stunts on the show, he gets antsy that is until he learns that they can just answer questions instead but Balki who wants to do the stunts is battling him for which to do.

That is until Gorpley sends the team's star player out of town when the final will be. Larry needs to find a replacement. Balki incorporates a game from his country and does well, so Larry makes him part of the team. And he is sure they can win, that is until Balki shows up for the game having just come from the eye doctor who placed medication in his eyes which impairs his vision.

Larry Appleton and Balki Bartokamous are having a special party at their apartment, during a weekend, Saturday or Sunday evening. Among their friends that are there, one is a hypnotist and his girl friend, are also with them. Later that evening, he wants to hypnotize Larry Appleton into acting and thinking like Elvis Presley. After the temporary spell of falling asleep, when Larry wakes up but he acts like Marlon Brando, instead, because he refused want to be hypnotized, but pretended to accept. At that same time, Balki Bartokamous, was watching from the kitchen window, (where he went to get a jar of wine or champagne, for himself or some of the guests). Balki gets the Elvis Presley hypnotic spell and extremely heavy! Later that evening, when Balki hears the telephone ring, he immediately answered it with Elvis Presley's southern accented voice tone saying, "How did you get this number, lady?" Later, after the week-end, Larry and Bakli are to visit their Incime Tax agent, Mister Yates. But the telephone rang again and Balki was himself. Larry learned the next day and was almost in shock, knowing of their appointment with their Income Tax agent, Mister Yates. Larry remembered hearing, (from the hypnotist), that the next every second chime time a chime or an alarm clock, telephone would ring, that the hypnosis would be over, until another chime of any type occurred, again! After their hysterical visit at the Income Tax agent, Mister Yates' office, Larry calls and invites the hypnotist back over (to remove the Elvis Presley spell off of Balki, permanently. Larry had to give a special introduction, before Balki, with the hypnotic spell of Elvis Presley, was over him. Balki slowly came out, and with a slow salutation to the crowd, like Elvis Presley did approximately 1976. Then, the hypnotist successfully removed the hypnotic spell off of Balki Bartokamous.
