Quantum Feidl Theory posits that every infinitesimal is imbued with a bit of energy, actually a great deal of energy, called the zero point energy. That is ok since its the difference in energy that matters, but not to General Relativty. Now the discovery of dark energy provides a measure of the zero point energy and the the quantum prediction is spectacularly wrong.
