When Patrick finds himself compelled to enter a school rocket building competition, his best friend, Desmond and younger sister PJ, jump behind him.

Patrick's rocket refuses to take off and so he has to start again from scratch.

Patrick Walsh is infatuated by Amanda Barrington. When her flat is burgled, Patrick decides that he is going to get Amanda's stuff back.

In the run up to the local launching competition, Patrick, Dessy and PJ are spending most of their time chasing after lost rockets.

Patrick Walsh and his team need a workshop if they are ever going to compete seriously in the local rocket finals.

The lock-up garages in Dragglesham are about to be bull-dozed which means Patrick is going to lose his rocket workshop.
