Dakota has lived her life in and out of the hospital since she was seven and struggles with her pain levels every day. At times her disease can take her out of school and really bring her down, but she never lets it keep her there. Instead, her positive spirit keeps the whole family going and they would do anything to bring a little more light to the life of this amazing young woman.

This strong and supportive family has suffered so much loss - none more tragic than the death of Dan & Dixie's eldest daughter; Melissa. The family was devastated when Melissa was diagnosed with ALS and this courageous couple dropped everything to keep the family together and to make their daughter's final days as happy as they could be. Now it's time for a fresh start.

Julianna Vittorio: Julianna is one of those rare people who knows that the glass is half full. She's strong and bubbly, and doesn't let anything hold her back, including her autism. She volunteers for many organizations but there is a special place in her heart for KidSafe. The KidSafe staff has come together, along with her friends and family, to celebrate and thank this incredibly generous young woman.

Patti Milne: When it comes to her kids, Patti's caring spirit knows no bounds. She's given up so much for them especially her eldest Krista Lee. Krista was diagnosed with Down Syndrome when she was born, and Patti has been by her side since day one, fighting for her daughter's right to live her life to the fullest. As a result, Krista and her siblings have inherited their mother's giving nature, which is why they've decided to say the words that can't be said often enough: "Thank-you Mom."

But everything changed five years ago when Curtis was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It's been a hard battle and it's really only just beginning, but his family wants to give Curtis one last adventure before this overwhelming disease puts him in a wheelchair for good.

The ups are crowned by the birth of her twin daughters Jessica and Melissa. Dawn has sacrificed everything to protect and support her girls and it's been a constant struggle. Now they want to start paying her back.

Belen Dittrich grew up on a poverty-stricken farm in the Philippines. Her father died when she was just a baby, leaving her and her siblings in their mother's care. But before Belen had celebrated her 10th birthday, her mother had abandoned the family. Since leaving the Philippines Belen has made a good life for herself while continuing to financially and emotionally support her relatives back home. Today Belen's loved ones want to thank her for all that she's sacrificed and for the tremendous happiness she's brought to their lives.

Jeneece has overcome a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis to become an inspiration. Diagnosed at 3 years old with this debilitating disease that causes tumor growth on nerve pathways in the body, she's had over a dozen dangerous surgeries. Jeneece wanted to help others like herself, so at age 7 she started her first penny drive and raised $164 dollars. At 8, she raised over $52,000. By 15, Jeneece had raised one million dollars. But she had a bigger plan and now, after a 2 year, 5.5 million dollar fund-raising campaign, Jeneece Place has opened - a home for kids & families who are visiting hospital for treatment. Now her friends and family feel it's time Jeneece has something that's just for her.

Working 40 hours a week as an advance-care paramedic plus 50 hours volunteering for North Shore Rescue, Tim has little downtime. It seems a break is the one thing Tim won't volunteer for - so his team is here today to change that.

Their love story could have ended, but Jennifer credits Evan for holding their relationship together so they could start again. She's brought this group together here to help her thank the love of her life, Evan.

Lindsay Gallichen has a great group of girlfriends she's grown up with. They meet monthly for wine, support and girl-talk. Lindsay and her husband, Jason, have had a few tough years. Although blessed by the births of their two sons, Kessler and Nash, the pregnancies were difficult. Lindsay was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis in her first pregnancy, which left her medicated and often bed-ridden. The condition worsened during her second pregnancy. Now Lindsay struggles physically with everyday life. Despite this she still finds a way to do everything for everyone else. A constant source of kindness, joy and inspiration for her friends, Lindsay deserves a break. And her girlfriends are here to give her one.

Kathleen Taylor's door is always open to those in need. When her best friend died, Kathleen raised friend's kids as her own. Kathleen opened her home to a family friend when she and her child became homeless after a marital breakup. Then, Kathleen hosted an immigrating family for a year! And when Kathleen's father died, she welcomed in her mother, Joan. Recently one of Kathleen's neighbor's sons was murdered. Her bereaved neighbor lost her home, but Kathleen stepped in and this grieving family - mom, six kids, plus pets, have joined Kathleen in her home. Kathleen's family and her extended family are nominating her as a Supermom!
