Episode 1
Nina is floating on cloud nine, unaware that she is about to face one of the biggest challenges of her life - is she a Proudman? Meanwhile, Billie and Mick are married and blissfully happy, but what does the future hold? Will they try to fall pregnant again and fulfil their long held desire to have a baby? Youngest of the Proudman family, Jimmy loves to live by the seat of his pants but he is fast coming to terms with being a first-time Dad. Will he finally get his life together and grow up? Searching for love, balance and fulfilment in the adventure of life, is there ever a happy ever after?
Episode 2
Still reeling after learning of her true parents, Nina meets with Darcy to find out how he's coping. Both hurt and confused by the news, Nina and Darcy downplay their feelings trying to save each other grief. Nina, Billie and Jimmy are floored when Geraldine reveals all the secrets she's kept over the years and Nina learns her biological father could be one of two men. Billie struggles with the idea Nina is only her half-sister. Unable to censor herself, Billie creates chaos for Darcy and Geraldine before sharing her concerns with Nina who reafirms their bond. Mick tries to find Andrew a date under Billie's instructions.
Episode 3
Burying concerns over the identity of her biological father, Nina focuses on the hunt for a rental property with Patrick. Nina's only forced to confront the issue when Billie reveals she located one of the possibilities. Billie's disappointed to discover her only fertile time of the month coincides with Tim and Andrew's first big date. Striking a compromise, Billie suggests Andrew keep things on third base with Tim and save himself to donate the following afternoon. Jimmy and Zara attend the first ultrasound for their baby.
Episode 4
A week after moving in with Patrick, Nina worries that living and working together is putting a strain on their relationship. Unconvinced Nina and Patrick's space related issues are normal this early on; Billie assumes Nina's brought up the topic of children. Nina's adamant they haven't broached the topic and Billie is surprised considering Nina's a control freak and Patrick's troubled past. Later that night, Nina gets a surprise call from Dr Noonan hoping to catch up with Geraldine having now heard she's single. Feeling the weight of her massive secret, Nina realises she has to tell Dr Noonan, he's her father.
Episode 5
Nina (played by Asher Keddie) arrives at work shocked to discover Patrick(Matthew Le Nevez) is being investigated over an allegation of patient abuse. Episode 6
Worried about their first big fight and Patrick's (portrayed by Matthew Le Nevez) night alone at a motel, Nina (Asher Keddie) finds Patrick at work to apologise. Mick and Rosanna (played by Eddie Perfect and Clare Bowditch respectively) continue to forge their musical partnership.
Episode 7
Proud of the way she's coped post breakup, Nina (Asher Keddie) arrives at work ready to face her first day of surgery with Patrick (Matthew Le Nevez). Determined not to allow her to wallow, Cherie (Deborah Mailman) takes Nina out for a night of fun and partying. Episode 8
Nina (played by Asher Keddie) wakes up hung over in a stranger's bed, faced with overwhelming evidence she's had a one night stand. Meanwhile, with Nina missing from work and home, Patrick's (Matthew Le Nevez) concern leads him to investigate. Patrick (played by Matthew Le Nevez) confronts Nina (Asher Keddie) about the serve Billie (Kat Stewart) gave him over their breakup and her new relationship with Adam (Kick Gurry). Will Nina face the boundaries of her relationship? The reality of Patrick's (played by Matthew Le Nevez) departure hits Nina (Asher Keddie) as she walks to work. Later at Patrick's farewell, Nina struggles to say a proper goodbye in front of all her workmates.
