Chuck is having trouble proving to his wife that he knows the future. She doesn't believe in his story about Earth being destroyed and asks him to see a psychiatrist or she'll file for divorce. When she gets the word that her mother has suffered a heart attack, Chuck convinces her that it's just false alarm and to trust him and stay home. If her mother calls her back and says she's okay, she'll have to take his time travel story seriously. If it turns out that it actually was a heart attack, it'll prove that he doesn't know the future and she will leave him for good. A heat wave has hit Texas and Neil is taking it very poorly. Sarah is angry that her TV station has brought in a gimmicky weatherman. Angela remembers that her father will have a car accident and tries to prevent it. However, she also remembers that the last time there were no heat wave and it was raining all day. This clews in the others that something is wrong. They eventually find out about Kurt's departure, so Chuck and Neil, with the help of Sarah, travel to the small town Kurt's in to see what's going on both there and with him. Meanwhile, Kurt's become a part of the local religious cult of zealots that's awaiting the arrival of the Messiah that night.

Trouble with Harry

He finds the gang and warns them that an insane sentient called Phaedra plans to destroy Earth. The crew visits the scientific research center that holds the atom collider that Phaedra took over. Meanwhile, Harry tries to satisfy his enormous curiosity about what it's like to be human by engaging in various human activities such as cooking and group sex. In the end, love conquers all.
