Now Andrew and Lauren are about to become parents, they go trough a list of potential candidates to enlist as the baby's legal guardian(s) in case they would both die. Danny is deeply hurt to find Andrew's initial choice for him was overturned, Cooper just indignant not be asked at all, so she commandeers Danny as barman for a party her big mouth forced her to throw for a hated rival, who becomes Danny's hot lover there, but doesn't pick up the tabs he can't afford. After being turned down be the friends they chose but prove 'overbooked', Andrew finally realizes the new neighbors he avoided because they're annoyingly perfect parents make ideal candidates. A dinner invitation is eagerly accepted, but too much clumsily phrased truth spoils the plan.

After they have left she discovers she forgot to give him his VIP passes to the concert so she, Cooper and Julie set off to the concert. At the concert Lauren goes into labor and delivers a baby girl by cesarean section at Joshua Tree Hospital. But what name do they call her?

Cooper meets Ray and is instantly attracted to his hot sweaty look and every time they meet he has to hot and sweaty. Lauren and Julie have a huge fight because Julie won't recommend Lauren and Andrew to their pediatrician. Meanwhile, Danny has been lying to Andrew about his basketball games because when Andrew played with them he was too competitive.

Fresh parents Andrew and Lauren's cozy peace interval ends, waited on hand and foot by step and treated like heroes, when they are sent home. The very drive back from Palms Springs to L.A. proves on ordeal, and a helpful but disdaining CHiP's diaper change help isn't taken in by either, as all the time in hospital. Welcome preparation at the home front go badly, as Danny lacks motivation and misplaces his energy on brutally unwilling Cooper. Eric steps in but finally has to confess his single flaw.

Andrew is jealous of Lauren's quality-time with their baby, so desperate to do things like feeding. She sends him on a fake errant, a party function with Cooper, who tells him about the ploy. Danny gets a swimming lesson from Eric, despite systematic embarrassment, to score a skinny-dipping date, but gets caught up in the swimming. Andrew's angry return is surprisingly triumphant.
Episode 11
Andrew rightly doubted Lauren's assurance her parents' visit would for once go smoothly. Indeed, her bossy dad Walter ignores their every opinion, so they hide in their own home, and treats her as an utter baby. At last, stand is made against subjecting the baby to Walter's reckless driving. Meanwhile Danny's intimate underwear problem with Laurens's ma gets out of control. perry's single, hunky nanny Ian accepts to date Cooper.

Andrew and Lauren finally go out for dinner and a movie when Danny volunteers himself and fellow godparent Cooper to babysit Olivia. Their clumsy bumbling with baby and teddy-bear is unlikely to go unnoticed, especially a search parents sneakily breaks their pact 'no baby worries tonight' to call home and even drop by. Yet Cooper sends genius babysitter Ian, whom Danny got to help, away just to remove a personal relational temptation.
Episode 13
Andrew and Danny brave an unamused neighbor 'host' to dig up a time-capsule they buried as school kids. It starts them wondering and bickering which one a local girls was interested in, enough to track her to a gym and rival near cardiac arrest to be named now. Meanwhile Lauren's meddling to 'help' eminently eligible babysitter Ian's budding relationship with Cooper progressively ruins the lovebirds (love)lives.
Episode 14
For once Cooper sends something to Danny, a cool purple-striped shirt, he doesn't get it. They suspect the deliveryman kept it, but he passes a trap-test. Having seen neighbor Larry wear that model, Danny suggests and she assumes that's the thief. Cooper personally takes charge of making him feel her wrath, especially after verbal abuse fails to impress Larry, but ends up embarrassing herself utterly. Lauren sneaked the baby into the parental bed and wants to keep it there as that stops it crying, but Andrew is afraid to crush it, so he ends up on a living-room air mattress. Feeling guilty, Lauren compensates for more discomfort then it turns out to be once he uses his boyish camping skills and gets knavishly organized with true rascal Danny.
Episode 15
Everyone goes on a weekend trip at Julie and Eric's villa. However, Eric reveals a secret to Andrew. Lauren squeezes it out of him and decides to prepare Julie, but accidentally finds out her secret. Meanwhile, Danny and Cooper hit the bar.
