Antoine Habert, husband of an airline pilot and manager in the family property construction company, believes he recognizes his sister Anna during a fugitive viewing of a television report. She was however officially declared victim of an attack in Egypt in 2012. Disturbed by this apparition, he decided to leave for Turkey in order to go to Syria where the international battalion is located, which Anna could have joined, engaged in the alongside the Kurdish troops of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) fighting against Daesh. He then falls into an ambush.
