Eventually, the show gets canceled, he has to try to explain what happened to the show's star. Eventually, he gets the show back on the air but with a few changes that the star doesn't like. And George plays a prank on Stephanie making her think she's putting on weight.

When Dick and Stephanie's father chooses not to wear colonial clothes, Officer Shifflet arrests them and places in stocks in the middle of town.

That is until one of the inn's annoying guests tells of a publisher he knows. So Dick goes to see him but the man refuses to read an unknown's work.

And Stephanie's father wants Michael to sign a pre-nup even though he and STephanie are not even talking about getting married.
