Adam and Jamie along with Grant, Tory and Kari attempt to finally make a Chevy Impala fly by going back to, as they put it, return to the myth that got away. First they procure two Impalas and refit them so that they not only can put rockets on them and have Grant prepare the cars to be operated by remote control. Next Tory and Kari turn an old dump truck into the Mythbusters' new mobile bunker dubbed "the Beast". The team then head back to the site of the original JATO experiment in the Mojave Desert where they will once again attempt to see if a car outfitted with rockets can fly as stated in the original myth as well as have the car take off from a ramp. Will they finally get the car to fly or will it blow up in Mythbuster style?
