When she ends up dead on November 27, 2005 at age 21, New York law enforcement detectives have a list of potential suspects to investigate. In the end, a jealous former boyfriend, Paul Vincent Cortez, is convicted of her murder. He was sentenced to "25 years to life" in prison.
