Episode 1

Die verlorene Tochter

48 mins

Robin Hexler, a 21-year-old laundry worker, is found stabbed to death on the edge of a Lübeck street prostitution scene. Detectives Lars Englen and Finn Kiesewetter investigate that Robin had a secret relationship with Lina, his boss's 15-year-old daughter, and was possibly involved in drug dealing. Lina's parents are shocked: their daughter is allegedly involved with a dealer six years her senior? Colleague Schröter revisits some old relationships from his time with vice squad and puts the detectives on a hot lead: The deceased had supplemented his meager laundry wages not with drug offenses, but with prostitution. Robin was a so-called loverboy, who deceived underage girls into working for him and thus stabbed him. Was Lina trying to escape and therefore stabbed him? The girl swears she loved Robin and willingly served him. Desperate, she runs away from home-straight to Robin's former business partner, the red-light district magnate Manni. And he demands a high price for his help. The investigators are putting pressure on her: They not only have to convict the perpetrator, but also free the girl from the clutches of the pimp.
