It's a Vulva, Son

44 mins

It's Lidia's forty-second birthday, a milestone which marks a "death" in Lidia's mind. Nora is treating the Finley-Cullen sisters to a day at the spa in honor of the birthday. Although she tells Terry that she will tell them the truth, Nora fails to tell her sisters that she has ulterior motives in inviting them together. It is Nora, however, that ends up being surprised more than once during the outing. With Rhian gone for the day, Oscar is left alone to take care of the twins. He is not only struggling with fatherhood and partnership with Rhian, but his overall place in life. As Ken and Ryan can see his troubles, they decides he needs an initiation into the full breadth of what it means to be a Finley-Cullen. And Sammy is trying to hide his time with Wes, the "enemy", from his family, while he hides from Wes that he is not just an employee at Moonshine, but is a Finley-Cullen, the brother of the "crazy blonde lady" Wes wants to meet to help him design the resort.

Episode 3

Sunk the Junk

44 mins

Auni has returned to Moonshine with news that she will be conducting a dig, which should take no longer than a month, Rhian responding in turn that she has two weeks before Wesworld will be breaking ground. Lidia is taking steps to inform the family that she has accepted Wes' offer to be the lead architect for the resort, something within the family that only Nora and Sammy know, divulging that information which Lidia finds is more difficult than she anticipated with everything else going on. Sammy, as well, hasn't told anyone, except for Lidia's direct discovery, that he and Wes are more than friends, which may be somewhat of a moot point if Wes' seeming ghosting is what Sammy thinks it means. All this hidden information may also be moot points upon discovery of a legal delay in Wesworld breaking ground, which gives both Lidia and Rhian an opportunity to implement their respective Plan Bs. Meanwhile, Terry comes clean to Nora about Nancy in his life while she was in Los Angeles. Crystal is trying to find a way both to increase business and get Ryan more involved in the business in a direct manner. Oscar unburdens to Terry about his current life with Rhian and the twins. And taking Auni's advice, Ken contemplates making a grand gesture to show Bea that he misses her, despite they having told each other before her departure that they would give each other space.

Episode 4

I Am the Night!

44 mins

In believing she is figuratively God and literally "GOD" as majority owner of Moonshine and newly elected President of the Foxton Cove Business Association, Rhian evicts Lidia from the Moonshine for working for the enemy. It's bad timing for Lidia from a pure housing perspective in being high season with nothing available elsewhere and in Lidia's parental role in Finn and El's arrival back. Not having told anyone of her creative block, Lidia finds temporary housing in wanting to become one with the land in getting ideas for Wesworld, especially as Wes wants to set up a meeting with his father to get him on board. As Lidia's new "housing" situation goes from bad to worse in part with the ongoing feud with Rhian, Lidia has to find a way to get her mojo back. Elsewhere, Oscar stumbles onto a way that he thinks will help him get his own mojo back in having lost his way since the twins came into the picture. He drags Ryan and Sammy along with him, each who ultimately gets something different out of the experience. And Nora and Auni are both at crossroads, Nora due to what looks to be a more responsible future which is not her nature, and Auni as she is sitting on some information which her in control self doesn't know how to deal with. As such, Nora thinks the two of them need a good old fashioned blow out.

How To Lose Friends and S**t-Can Your Reputation

44 mins

With her work for Wes and the Lonergans, Lidia is trying to resurrect her life without Daniel, which includes starting her own architectural firm. She is yet unaware that someone she didn't even consider wants to be part of that future. She has one big problem, namely the ankle monitor and everything that that represents. Meanwhile, as its new president, Rhian wants to put her mark on this year's FCBA summer social if partly to distinguish herself from Katie, as such something different than the usual white linen table cloth type event of the past. What Rhian suggests at the latest FCBA meeting sinks like a dead weight upon the announcement. Regardless, Crystal wants to use the event to rebrand her company away from what was the Ryan dominated one, while Ryan wants to push his new "manly" company. Lidia believes she can tweak the event both to benefit her and Rhian at the same time. What may kibosh it is the secret a preoccupied Wes has been keeping close to his chest, something that Sammy can notice as being not quite right. And in the next step in Nora and Terry's discussion about having children, Nora wants to borrow the twins for the afternoon to show Terry that neither of them is ready for parenthood together. Two people go into this proposal with unspoken ulterior motives.

Episode 6

Hold Me Closer Tiny Cancer

44 mins

Lidia learns just how angry the rest of the family is with her when they hold a family meeting without her to discuss what to do about Wes' announcement regarding what his father intends to do with the Moonshine. Spotting something, Rhian takes a unilateral measure to at least delay the development from proceeding until she can come up with a more permanent solution, that measure with unintended consequences, especially problematic as Bea has written that she is on her way home. Lidia also learns that Nora's seeming anger is not directed at her, but rather that the fertility tests have instead found a growth; she's unable to get a biopsy for another seven months and she's dealing with the news alone, not wanting to tell Terry. With Eleanor by her side, Lidia decides to take proactive action in seeing that Nora gets that biopsy sooner than later. Nora's medical situation brings up the issue of mortality. With the Finley-Cullens' problem, Finn, spending time with his father, believes that he will try to use his frat-brother ties to steal the Wesworld job from Lidia. And Crystal and Ryan come together again with their respective businesses, but not in the way that either of them really intended or wanted.

Episode 7

Get My Baby Back

44 mins

In feeling like she is a burden to them, Lidia has abandoned the family, albeit having left a note for El and Finn to tell them that she has left voluntarily and indefinitely. To who she heads is Gale, the two who decide to go on the lam together, Gale albeit in his new "non-biker, environmentally conscious" self, which Lidia may not expect or want in not being the Gale she knows and loves. But they are still on the lam, which has certain connotations which Lidia may not fully comprehend. Lidia's combined actions of late has caused problems both professionally and personally for Nora and Terry, the former who tries to regroup in light of still awaiting her biopsy results. For the family, Nora and Rhian decide to try and find Lidia, which they expect should be a relatively easy process in Lidia's predictability. In their time together, Rhian wants with Nora what Nora and Lidia have always had, namely some sisterly bonding which includes proverbially stopping to smell the roses. What Nora and Rhian are aware of is that the police are also on Lidia's trail in she now being a fugitive, one person on the investigative team who may end up with a slightly different focus.

High Season

44 mins

After the family comes to grips with the realization that Lidia faked her death, she, Rhian and Nora, as the new family triad, have to figure out a way to delay or stop Dick Lonergan from bulldozing the Moonshine, which is made all the more urgent in his unexpected arrival into town in not hearing back from Wes and believing he not taking enough action to get it done. Lidia believes she has a first step in a delay tactic, hopefully long enough for them to try and figure out what Dick's Achilles heel is. That first step is only aided by discovering his penchant for partying hard the "Ken Finley-Cullen" way. Many of the family members do their part to enact the plan, and come at the longer term problem from different angles. But Lidia believes she's discovered Dick's ultimate game plan with Wesworld, much the same as he has done with many other Lonergan resorts. With access to the company's computer system as an employee, Lidia has the last and arguably most difficult hurdle of needing Dick's password to get into the depths of where he keeps his secrets.
