As Lidia mixes business with pleasure with a sneaky money laundering scheme, Nora is busy airing dirty laundry of her own -- by way of Cove-FM. But will it be the detriment of her relationship with Terry? Meanwhile, Eleanor helps Crystal seek revenge on an old teacher and Sammy finds a clue in his search for his Bio-Mom after coming clean with Bea and Ken. They may know just how to find her.

Meanwhile, Sammy and Ryan's road trip to find Sammy's birth parents leads them to a dead end, literally -- his bio mom is dead. As Sammy mourns the thought that he may never know where he came from, Ryan turns to the bottle to deal with yet another failure while Nora's trying her hand at selflessness. But, working at the Moonshine? That's almost as ridiculous as Ken performing in a local summer play about a giant squid, causing a rift with Bea, who's angry by his lack of dedication. But, is the play the problem, or do Bea and Ken no longer have anything in common?

As Lidia considers the life of a full-time biker wife, Rhian is anxious about impending motherhood and is desperate to prove her nurturing skills. Intending it to be a family dinner, the addition of Bea and Ken's director, DAVIDE (Jonathan Torrens) causes a stir. Bea's crush at a family dinner results in a full-blown food fight. But as meatballs fly... everyone has to wonder, where the hell is Lidia? Yup. She's been kidnapped.

Concerned with Lidia's erratic behavior and absence from Ryan's dinnervention, Bea, Nora and Rhian take drastic measures to knock some sense into Lidia - by actually knocking some sense into her. Meanwhile, Gale engages in some kidnapping of his own. He holds Daniel and Crystal hostage while he tries to gather information on where Lidia disappeared to. As they trade stories of their upbringing and relationships, Daniel and Gale discover they've got more in common than sleeping with the same woman. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Ryan, troubled by his inability to help Sammy, has a heart to heart with his father. As Ken takes some of the blame for his son's addictions, he assures Ryan that things will get better, but neither of them could've predicted that hope is closer than they think as Ani has just returned to Foxton.

But when she discovers that Gale's connected to an on-going murder investigation, Terry advises her to keep the status quo until the Feds wrap up their case on the Marauders. Though Lidia doubles down on the PDAs, it isn't long before news of her plan to dump his ass makes its way to Gale and Hell hath no fury like the leader of a biker gang's ego scorned. Meanwhile, Sammy's thrown for a loop when his bio-mom, ANI ARNOLD (Leigh-Ann Rose) shows up unannounced, but that's not even the shocking revelation... turns out Sammy's birth father has been at the Moonshine all along. Yep, it's Ryan. And that means Sammy is a legit Finley-Cullen. Confused by this weird twist of fate, Ryan pushes Sammy to bond with Ani. That is until Lidia finds an unlikely ally in Jill who agrees to help if Lidia brings in her arch enemy for a reckoning: she wants Gale -- dead or alive. As the sisters struggle with the fact that may actually deserve their bad reputation, that doesn't mean the family isn't going to go ahead with Ken's annual uncorking of his home-distilled Moonshine. As the party roars on, and the war between the bikers, Jill's family and the outraged campers escalates, Ryan lightens the mood with a grand gesture for a down-and-out Crystal. In the end, the Finley-Cullens discover they have one more issue in the future with which they have to deal.
