Kouhei doesn't realize she's a vampire. As she seduces him, her guardian intercedes. As dawn approaches, endangering her existence, Kouhei sets out to find and protect her. Ryuuhei fully accepts Hazuki into his home, under mostly reasonable conditions. Also working as his store clerk, Hazuki, with her vampire charms, becomes a boon to his antiques shop; but, as the next full moon arrives, her craving for blood returns. Since Kouhei can't be seduced by her paranormal charms into providing any, she ventures out to enslave someone else. In trying to protect a street thug from receiving her vampire's "kiss," Kouhei takes a beating, thereby unintentionally availing himself to be sipped after all.
Episode 5
24 mins
With the full moon putting Hazuki in a heightened state of blood lust, Elfriede, agent of the count, appears before her, expecting to persuade her to return to Schwartz Quelle Castle, but Hazuki refuses. Elfriede, though gentle in demeanor, shows herself unafraid at using her full vampire might against Hazuki in order to complete her assignment. As the two engage in a paranormal battle, Kouhei remains unconscious, yet his presence enables Hazuki to dispel Elfriede's demonic agent, leading Elfriede to back off and reassess the situation.

24 mins
Ryuuhei takes everyone to Kyoto on family business, but only Seiji shares in the secret that Heidi, away from its master, will die ere long unless a new master can be determined for it. In her they sense evil, but learning that Hazuki lives under the same roof with Kouhei compounds their dislike. Instinctively, the girls want to fight her. Elfriede appears, making a rendezvous with Kouhei and leading to a fight between the girls over a mistaken situation, nearly bringing Hazuki to an end.
Episode 7
24 mins
Hazuki, desiring a new bedroom set for herself, uses her vampire wiles to force Hiromi into purchasing it for her. Outraged, Kouhei orders her to stop victimizing people to get what she wants, and Hazuki, in return, boils over at his inability to treat her as a proper slave should. Still, Hazuki tries getting by without putting the vamp on anyone. Elfriede recognizes and declares Kouhei to be a desirable, rare commodity among vampires - an ama lamia, or vampire's lover - "the partner who gives freedom." Thereupon, she also proclaims herself to be Hazuki's rival for Kouhei's affections.
Episode 8
24 mins
Hazuki anxiously awaits her mother to come see her again. Count von Kinkel, who's come to Japan himself, uses this to recapture her. Episode 9
Grandpa Ryuuhei (strategically joined by Elfriede) wages war against Count Heinrich von Kinkel. As von Kinkel enjoys this as an exciting change of pace, Kouhei penetrates to the hidden sleeping chamber where Heinrich keeps Hazuki sleeping and protected. Grandpa's unexpected extended stay at the hospital worries everyone enough to want to visit. Since Kouhei's own recovery requires a lot of bed rest at home, Hazuki fashions a body-encapsulating catsuit to protect herself from the sun's lethal rays while escorting the despised twins to the hospital herself, rendering her blind and sweltering as she leads them through Tokyo.

Count von Kinkel, feeling maliciously generous, gives the others two hours to hand over Hazuki and Kouhei to be allowed to keep their lives. The group, however, uses the time to form a battle plan against him - the only one they can make and with only a slim chance of success.
Episode 14
24 mins
Guilt over the outcome of battling the Count puts Hazuki in touch with second-self Luna, leaving Hazuki a blended personality and difficult for anyone to read. Elfriede points out and demonstrates a hitherto unknown ability of Hazuki's that'll make her the target of every vampire on the planet.
Episode 15
24 mins
Taking Kouhei's evasive words at face value, Hazuki becomes despondent, allowing Miss Luna's personality to come more to the forefront. Since Kouhei's become "unreliable," both Elfriede and Hazuki head out for fresh game.

Episode 17

Though Kouhei's haunting photo of Hazuki is a hit (making the cover of FoRest Magazine), he feels useless and ineffectual in his ability to protect Hazuki. He asks Ryuuhei to be trained as a psychic fighter like the rest of his family. Grandpa angrily objects but eventually hands Kouhei contact information for someone who might train him. Elfriede finishes her story about her tragic youth in Germany, strengthening the bond between her and Ryuuhei. Tragedy strikes when Mario, an agent of the Master, finally comes to the shop for Luna.

Eight months have passed since Kouhei and Hazuki took refuge at Yayoi's dojo. Hikaru and Kaoru train there as well. Meanwhile, new agents of the Master investigate the burnt down antique shop in search of them.

Only one of them manages to cross Yayoi's protective enchantment, of which Yayoi becomes aware and deals with the intrusion.
Episode 20
A mystery man causes Kouhei to fall from the mountainside he was scaling, breaking a few dozen of his bones. As Yayoi leaves to fetch Hazuki to feed him some restorative energy, Arte, Vargas and Jeda finally break through the enchantments to invade Yayoi's territory. Episode 21
24 mins
Having drunk Kouhei's blood turns the tables on the fighting as Arte, now self-actualized, follows her own motivations against the instructions of the Master. To compensate for the impending loss, Jeda takes a hostage and turns one other into one of his puppets.
Episode 22
24 mins
With the next full moon comes the next battle against the Master's agents (who are just itching to kill something). Time is short. With no time for blessings from the head of the clan, Yayoi tells Kouhei that, instead of being the weakest and least powerful psychic in the family, the opposite is true. They deliberately blocked the connection to his power for his own protection; but, in order to protect Hazuki further, Kouhei agrees to have that connection reestablished, much to his horror. Meanwhile, only Haiji notes something a little off about Seiji.
Episode 23
24 mins
Now that Kouhei has been put in touch with his Jagan, the sight of Hazuki absolutely horrifies him. Jeda, hearing of the Jagan through his human puppet, breaks from his fellow vampires to attack the Mido group early. Episode 24

To save her friends from certain death, Hazuki agrees to return to the Master's castle, prompting Schwartz Quelle Castle to almost instantly materialize in Japan all the way from Germany. Before its new protective barrier can be sealed, the Mido clan objects to this outcome and launches an attack to rescue Hazuki. Jeda can not be any more pleased for a reason to wipe out the Mido clan, leaving the clan to wonder if Kouhei can get control of his Jagan powers in time.
Episode 25
24 mins
With the battle over, the Midos rebuild and reopen the antique store, but all is not quiet. Hazuki and Kouhei continue to show their affection for each other through argument, with others a little worn from so much loud affection in their midst. Seiji, having found Arte, finally deems her safe enough to bring to the antique shop, but in there's a full moon out, and Arte and Elfriede find Kouhei a bit too tempting to resist, triggering Hazuki's ire.
Episode 26
23 mins
The stage set is lit low as an audible audience gathers for the final, absurdist episode. As Kouhei, Hazuki, Elfriede, Ryuuhei, Haiji, Hiraku, Kaoru and Arte enjoy breakfast, Seiji alone is maddened by an awareness that their antique shop has become a houseboat stranded in the middle of the ocean. As Ryuuhei and Elfriede blow terms of endearment each other's way, Kouhei and Hazuki exchange their usual tiff-tinged banter. Arte, still adjusting to living a normal life, proves herself a naughty girl by nearly sinking the shop (yes, "shop") and nearing drowning Saiji, showing Hazuki the need for showing patience while being her big sister. As Hiromi rides away on her dolphins, Arte finally pops the cork on this show, sending it to the belly of the beast.
