She destroys the alien bodies, which also contain the souls of her abusive foster parents. This act not only frees her from the torment she endured but also ensures that the two aliens can stay with her. In the end, Cindy and the two aliens form the kind of family they had always yearned for. Despite the difficult circumstances, their bond grows stronger, and they find solace and love in each other's presence.
