After DBK is released, MK must go on a journey of self-discovery to become the hero this generation needs. Through trial and tribulation, MK will discover new powers, responsibilities and ways of defeating the villains in this futuristic world.

After the humiliating defeat of DBK, Red Son decides to reclaim some villainous glory by taking over the "Weather Station", a prestigious club that allows its members to control the weather in different parts of the city. MK, overconfident with his new powers, attempts to defeat Red Son, but his lack of control and discipline causes some trouble.

After Mr. Tang mentions the famed power of the Monkey King to duplicate himself, MK decides to do the same and creates "corrupted" clones, that supposedly will do everything for everyone while he stays home and plays video games. But, since MK is undisciplined, and doesn't really know how to use his powers, the clones go crazy and wreak havoc.

But Mei defends her home and claims her birthright as the wielder of the fabled sword.

MK must shake off the illusion to defeat his comically weird enemies.

It's up to MK to rise up and help the Monkey King before all his power is gone.
