The day of the Neighborhood Opera "Windstorm in Bubbleland" finally arrives. Reardon plays amiable television news reporter Robert Redgate, who is always sure there's never, never, never any trouble in Bubbleland. Lady Aberlin plays Betty, of Betty's Better Sweaters. Francois Clemmons plays Friendly Frank the Weather Porpoise, and Lady Elaine Fairchilde is Hildegarde Hummingbird, who believes a windstorm is approaching Bubbleland, but nobody believes her. There is in fact a terrible storm a-brewing and it's all thanks to the latest product on the market: Spray Sweater, created by W.I. Norton Donovan (Handyman Negri) who was really the wind in disguise. Once his plan goes into effect, the wind attempts to utterly demolish Bubbleland. The fate of the world rests in the wings of an unsung feathered heroine.
