Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

Line of Duty follows Detective Seargent Steven "Steve" Arnott (Martin Compston), a former authorized firearms officer who led an operation to catch an Islamic terrorist intending to detonate a bomb, but the strike team mistakenly entered the wrong apartment and shot dead an unarmed innocent man. In the subsequent investigation, Arnott refused to cover up negligence in the planning and execution of the raid and unable to work in his unit anymore, Arnott receives a transfer to AC-12, a unit tasked with uncovering police corruption. Arnott is partnered with Detective Constable Kathrine "Kate" Fleming (Vicky McClure)), a highly commended undercover officer with a keen investigative instinct. They work under the supervision of Superintendent Edward "Ted" Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), who is one of several Senior Investigating Officers responsible for uncovering corruption within the police force. Throughout the series, AC-12 investigate seemingly disparate cases involving seemingly corrupt police officers, with each series focusing on a different corrupt officer and AC-12 soon realize the pervasive nature of corruption and the police's deep-rooted links to an organized crime group with ties to drug running, prostitution, child exploitation and people trafficking.

After a hostage rescue goes wrong, superintendent Sandra Pullman is put in charge of unsolved crimes. With little resources and no back-up, she decides to recruit three ex-policeman. However, times have changed, unlike her new recruits. Jack Halford has yet to get over the loss of his wife, Brian Lane is over-obsessed and over-medicated, and Gerry Standing is not quite the ladies' man he used to be. They might have the experience but it's not like the old days. Not only are they chasing criminals, but they are dealing with a new police force which does not always appreciate their old-style policing.

Inspector Robert Lewis steps out of the shadow of his mentor, the inimitable Inspector Morse, in this highly-acclaimed series of intricate mysteries. Together with his brooding, inscrutable partner, Detective Sergeant James Hathaway, they take on the elite criminal underworld of Oxford, England, relying on Lewis' instinct and Hathaway's intellect to see past appearances and into the hearts of their upper-crust foes.

Young Detective Constable Anna Travis joins the team led by D.C.I. Langton to investigate a series of gruesome murders of young women, which first began eight years previously. All the victims were prostitutes and all killed in the same way. Then a seventh body is found but this is the corpse of a student, though a vital piece of evidence links her death to the others, involving a house in Manchester where Alan Daniels, a popular young actor, grew up. Anna goes undercover to get to know him better but finds herself getting emotionally involved.

He's gentle, old-fashioned, decent, and nice even when he's drunk. But these qualities only earn Detective Constable "Dangerous" Davies the scorn of his fellow detectives in a small London police station. His boss tells him straight out that he's the last detective he would assign to a major crime-solving mission. Unlucky in love, rumpled, and accident-prone, Dangerous muddles on and, with help from his eccentric friend Mod, he proves the merits of his dogged, unglamorous method. He likes being a detective, and occasionally he gets to do some good.

Several murders in the fictional English town of Middleford. The crimes are solved by two female police detectives, Inspector Kate Ashurst and Sergeant Emma Scribbins, aka "Ash and Scribbs."
