It's Christmas in Paris, a time for generosity, giving and spending time with family. At least not for everyone, Adrien has to celebrate his first Christmas without his mom, and he thinks that his father is not interested in celebrating the holiday with him this year, which inspires him the idea to run away from home as Cat Noir to sing out his anger in the cold and snow. When the news of his disappearance spreads all over Paris, Adrien's friends go out searching for him while Marinette transforms as Ladybug to search the cold and snow for the boy she secretly loves. But things get worse when she accidentally causes a man dressed as Santa to get akumatized on Christmas Eve, now Ladybug and Cat Noir have to stop him before he destroys the holiday for everyone.

Marinette finally meets Master Fu, the last guardian of the miraculous. Master Fu reveals to Marinette about the miraculous spell book and he asks the heroine how she found the book. Marinette lies to Fu that she found it on a bench. At Agreste mansion, Gabriel has found out that Adrien has taken the book without his permission, he grounds Adrien. At school, Marinette learns that Adrien isn't coming back to school and she comes to believe that Gabriel is Hawk Moth. Gabriel knows that Ladybug and Cat Noir will find out his identity, he akumatizes himself as the Collector, so that he can create a new book of inspiration. Collector imprisons Nathalie and the Gorilla in his book, he tries to imprison Adrien, but he has already escaped. The Collector soon causes a rampage in Paris and he collects various items. Ladybug and Cat Noir arrive at Agreste mansion, they end up being cornered by the Collector. Ladybug and Cat Noir are able to defeat the Collector by filling up his book. Gabriel is de-akumatized by Ladybug and he tries to find Adrien, but the heroes assure him that Adrien is okay. Marinette reveals to Master Fu that the book is actually Gabriel's, but she saw that Adrien had it and then Lila stole it from him. Master Fu assures Marinette that she can trust him and he takes pictures of the book with his smartphone. Marinette returns the book to Gabriel and he rescinds Adrien's punishment. Unbeknownst to Ladybug or Cat Noir, they don't realize that Gabriel Agreste is Hawk Moth.

Doudou Vilain

During a baking lesson at school, Chloe calls the fire department to get out of baking. Mr. Damocles punishes everyone, except for Chloe, to clean up the school. Adrien soon realizes that Chloe is responsible for calling the fire department and for getting her classmates punished. Adrien soon confronts Chloe and he threatens to end his friendship with her if things continue to escalate. At the hotel, Armand encourages Chloe to host a party as an apology to her class, she invites everyone, including Marinette. Chloe tries to make an effort at being nice so she can continue her friendship with Adrien. Marinette and Adrien soon begin to dance together, but Chloe becomes jealous and she tries to break up the moment. Armand tells Chloe to let Marinette and Adrien have their moment, but he ends up embarrassing her by showing everyone her teddy bear and Chloe angrily fires her butler. Armand gets akumatized by Hawk Moth as Despair Bear and he sets his sights on Chloe. Ladybug and Cat Noir try to stop Despair Bear from manipulating someone else. Chloe soon works with Ladybug after Cat Noir is controlled by the akumatized villain. Ladybug is able to de-akumatize Despair Bear. Chloe realizes her actions can have consequences, so she decides to do a baking competition. Chloe's friendship with Adrien is repaired.

Nadja Chamack, news reporter, invites Ladybug and Cat Noir for an interview. Nadja, noticing the playful conversation between the 2 superheros, questions if they are a couple. Ladybug denies they are together and Cat gives little remarks that make it seem like they are. Not wanting to answer personal questions that could reveal her identity, Ladybug leaves the interview before it is over. Nadja's ratings drop and her boss tells her she can no longer have her prime time show. Hawkmoth sends an akuma and turns her into Prime Queen, a villain who can reach through screens and can handle all things tech. Prime Queen uses people who called into her show as bait for Ladybug and Cat Noir. Prime Queen puts them through the tasks of saving Chloe from a speeding train and Alya from falling and drowning in a river. Prime Queen's main goal is for the superheros to confess their love for one another and to take the miraculouses.

La Béfana

It's Marinette's birthday and she plans on celebrating her fourteenth birthday with her crush and her friends at Places de Vosges square. Marinette's paternal grandmother, Gina Dupain arrives to visit her granddaughter on her birthday. However, Marinette's grandmother gets akumatized into Befana, a candy-witch themed villain, who punishes the bad and rewards the good. Ladybug and Cat Noir must stop Befana and her angel minions from causing havoc in Paris.

Marinette also is trying out for the fencing team, but is afraid she won't make it because of Kagami's amazing fencing skills. Kagami is highly charming and talented in fencing, will Adrien like her and will she get in the way of the love square?

Markov is akumatized into Robostus after Mr. Damocles confiscates him from Max. Markov starts to control Paris' technology and he takes Max hostage. Ladybug and Cat Noir learn about Markov's greatest wish on becoming a human like his friend and he soon turns against Hawk Moth by controlling his lair. Hawk Moth is forced to fight off his security system. Ladybug is able the de-akumatize Markov by placing the flash drive that contains the virus and he is reverted back to normal. Hawk Moth is exhausted from fighting off his security system and he admits he has made a mistake on akumatizing Markov. Afterwards, Marinette visits Master Fu about the merging of the ladybug and cat miraculous. Fu reveals to Marinette that a person can grant a wish with the two miraculouses, but there would be a price to pay if a person grants their wish. Fu reminds Marinette that she and Cat Noir must keep their miraculous with them at all times and prevent Hawk Moth from getting them. Marinette assures Master Fu that Hawk Moth will never take her miraculous or Cat Noir's miraculous.

Ladybug and Cat Noir are unable to find the real Sapotis and they can't take down the clones by themselves. Ladybug gives Alya the Fox miraculous and she transforms into Rena Rouge so that she can help Ladybug and Cat Noir stop her akumatized sisters.
