In the vibrant, lively community of Mooresville, North Carolina, a lovely veteran couple packs up their belongings and says goodbye to their old home. After leaving to stay in their Airbnb, Military Makeover begins the first phase of the home renovation: Demolition Day. Everyone plays a part in turning the Mahaley house into their dream home, and it cannot be done without the volunteers and crew being replenished with Jersey Mike's subs and the support they provide with their volunteers. Suave is back to help another family. Showing their thanks and appreciation for the Mahaley's service, the family is gifted a bundle of products for while they are away, as well as to go in their stunning new home.

Construction is now underway at the Mahaley home, with new fixtures, systems, and finishes being installed. Our host Art Edmonds oversees the renovation - and has a few surprises in store for our heroic veteran couple and their family. Junk King, a Neighborly Company, is back. Thankfully, our partners came in with a truck big enough for the job and are professionals who clean up junk efficiently and safely. Community is about coming together for a common cause. For this makeover, the community of Mooresville showed out to help support Purple Heart Homes and the Mahaley makeover. With both Melissa and Ben having served in the military, they seek comfort by spending quality time with their children outdoors. And there's no better place to kick back with the family than on your own back deck. Our family, thanks to our Partners at Service Experts, receive brand-new HVAC, water, and air filtration systems throughout their home, plus an automated connected home to control all aspects of their home. DDP Specialty/Dupont is back with us on the Mahaley home makeover and providing much-needed materials. Cargill and Group set the stage for a lovely prepared dinning experience for our veterans, as well as gifting them some great steaks for upcoming family time. The Mahaley's service is honored by those who have so generously provided them with a rich and deserving vacation. CheapCaribbean Vacations gifted the family a wonderful getaway.

With the makeover halfway complete, plenty of work remains at the home. While Art ensures the foundation of the renovation is moving forward, Jenn takes Melissa on a surprise outing. Community is about coming together for a common cause. For this makeover, the community of Mooresville showed up to help support Purple Heart Homes and the Mahaley makeover. Navy Mutual joins us once again to help create a more comfortable home with new flooring that transforms the home into a warm, cozy sanctuary. This heartfelt contribution embodies the camaraderie and respect among those who serve. Ben and Melissa have courageously served our country, and now they can turn their attention to their family and the responsibilities they have at home, knowing their life is safe and secure. Master Lock set the family up. With today's technology, the folks from Zepp help set up their app that our veterans and others use to optimize their health, fitness, and wellness better than ever before. Milan Laser Hair Removal is helping our couple get ready for a wonderful tropical getaway. This treatment will increase comfort and confidence by exposing smooth, hair-free skin. Hair removal takes away all the worry.

As reveal day approaches, Art and Jenn still have to finalize some additions to the home while also keeping the Mahaley family busy. There will be gifts, surprises, and more adventures for the family as they prepare to see their gorgeous new home. SAS Shoes focus on the comfort of our veterans, focusing on the health and support that many shoes are lacking. With their new shoes, they will find comfort one step at a time. With the world's first wireless fence, the Mahaley family can take their dog anywhere and set up a fence for their dog on the go. Nobody's left behind when you can set up your fence on the go. After bravely serving in Iraq, our heroic veteran, Ben, has been diagnosed with tinnitus. Our partner has help for him. Our family, thanks to our Partners at Service Experts, receive brand-new HVAC, water, and air filtration systems throughout their home, plus an automated connected home to control all aspects of their home. Thanks to WGU once again, our family home has been gifted an educational area. They were given a full classroom full of all the necessary supplies and materials to make the perfect at home classroom. The Mahaleys have been treated to a special night out in a brand-new facility where they can relax and eat a delicious dinner along with some flavorful cocktails, games, and virtual reality experiences.

Designing a home is one of the most essential parts of the Makeover-it's what brings tears to our families' eyes when they step into their new home on reveal day.
