Military Makeover with Montel returns with an all-new season as the team heads to Hollywood, Florida to meet the Hixons. U.S. Navy veteran Chris Hixon served his country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield in 2007. Hixon survived combat service, but sadly lost his life attempting to defend the lives of children during an active shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, 2018. He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey. Stay tuned to get to know the family. Now, we're almost ready to begin the renovations. But before we can start, the Military Makeover team must clear out the Hixon home. Good thing we have help from College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving®. Military Makeover with Montel continues the renovations in Hollywood, Florida. That's right: The Hixon makeover is ready to begin. U.S. Navy veteran Chris Hixon served his country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield in 2007. Hixon survived combat service, but sadly lost his life defending the lives of students during a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, 2018. He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey. The makeover is picking up speed, and the demolition stage is underway. First up, Ryan is at Allied Kitchen and Bath, creating a dream kitchen and more for the Hixon family. Plus, the Military Makeover team is busy clearing out the Hixon home. Good thing we have help from College HUNKS Hauling Junk and Moving®. Then, a big consideration for a Military Makeover in Florida is the weather. That's why understanding home insurance is crucial for the Hixon family. ABC Supply Co. is back - yet again. They're a major supporter of our nation's veterans, which is why they jumped on the opportunity to help the Hixon family. In addition, as the demo continues inside the house, the exterior is making great progress as well. How? New fencing, of course.

Construction at the Hixon home continues in full swing. Check out all the progress, from new flooring to quartz countertops, fencing, and more. U.S. Navy veteran Chris Hixon served his country during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield in 2007. Hixon survived combat service, but sadly lost his life defending the lives of students during a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, 2018. He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey. The makeover is picking up speed, and the construction stage is underway. Allied Kitchen and Bath continues the kitchen remodel. Plus, Caesarstone returns to supply stylish quartz countertops. In addition, stay tuned for new flooring from Tarkett and a new HVAC system from Goodman Manufacturing. Major developments are happening on the outside of the Hixon home, too. That's right: Master Halco and Alta Forest Products are back. Furthermore, a high priority for this makeover is a beautiful, easy-to-maintain yard. That's why we're installing a brand-new irrigation system from Rachio.

He is survived by his wife Debra and their two sons, Thomas and Corey. Now, the makeover is picking up speed, and an incredible amount of progress is happening. Though the roof installation ran into a few hiccups, the Military Makeover team is committed to getting the job done with ABC Supply Co. Then the Hixon family is off to Simon Malls' Fashion Valley in San Diego, California for a complimentary shopping spree. We're back with our longtime parter, Goodman Manufacturing, ready to check out their headquarters. The outside of the Hixon home will help bring the entire makeover together. We're working with Scotts Miracle-Gro to help prep the soil for landscaping. In addition, our friends at Yoli are sitting down with Debbi to discuss ways to get healthy. Plus, the Florida Panthers are showing their support of the Hixon family, bringing them to a game for a unique experience.

The renovations begin to take shape as the teams enlists expert help from generous organizations eager to honor and give back to military families. Tarkett installs new flooring, while Ceasarstone supplies new countertops in the kitchen. Then, the new roof from ABC Supply Co. is finally taking shape.
