In northern Michigan he tries his hand at bird hunting but only gets a sack full of clay pigeons and fly fishing where he only snags his guide. Then it is off to Italy to become a member of the Red Cross for a day then to play the part of an American in "Hemingway's Paris."

The man occupying the room believes it is haunted. - In Uganda Michael flies over the Murchison Falls and visits the site where Hemingway's airplane crashed. - In Venice Michael meets with Baron Congcreti, a member of the aristocracy who knew Hemingway.

Finally, Palin goes to a Dude Ranch in Montana to do some Cattle punching and visit Hemingway's last home in Ketchum, Idaho where Hemingway commits suicide.
