Found abounded as an infant in a cemetery, Santino is adopted by a group of priests in a small town, who all pitch in to raise him as a little boy. Santino grows up happily in the church living with the priests, who raise him as their own. He proves to be a handful, so the priests all decide to scold the little boy. But they accidentally overhear him praying to God about being thankful for all the love the priests have shown him. This softens Father Anthony's heart and he relents on punishing the boy. But one day, a parishioner says some harsh words to Santino, which makes the little boy confess to Father Jose that he wishes that he could go to heaven already to meet his mother

All the priests are worried after all their resources in the monastery have been stolen. Enrique arrives and offers help, but in exchange, the priests will sell theirs. But Father Anthony refuses to give up the land. Meanwhile, word starts to spread around town that it was Santino who miraculously healed Joy. The next day, Enrique finds out that his son Rico was hurt by Cocoy. The mayor orders the police to arrest Cocoy and take him to jail.

The people of Bagong Pag-asa flock around the monastery in hope to be healed by Santino, now known as the Miracle Boy. The priests are concerned about the boy's safety now that almost everyone is after him. On the other hand, Enrique worries that he may never get the chance to close down the monastery now that the priests have the whole town on their side. Santino begins to heal the sick, and in return, he tells them to do good unto others. But during one healing session, Santino faints after helping a sick person.

The priests has given in to the pressure by the social workers in transferring Santino to a foster home. The boy is sad at first that he will have to leave the monastery, but he later understands that the priests are only looking after his welfare. Santino bids a tearful goodbye to Father Jose and the others who had been his family all his life. On the other hand, Enrique celebrates the victory of his evil plans against the priests. Now that Santino is gone, Enrique will have more power in driving out the priests and closing down the monastery.

People of Bagong Pag-asa are anxious to be be healed by Santino. But the priests in the monastery has decided to keep Santino from the public for the boy's safety. The social workers return to take Santino, but the priests refuse to give up the boy. Santino successfully convinces the social worker to let him stay in the monastery. Santino meets a lady named Julia and her mother Esmeralda. Julia has been having problems taking care of her mother sick with Alzheimer's disease. Santino is drawn to Esmeralda and feels compelled to help Julia to forgive her mother.

Santino begs for Julia not to send her mother Esmeralda to the nursing home. Julia reads her mother's diary where Esmeralda wrote her fondest memories with her daughter. The next day, Julia visits Santino at the monastery, and she tells the boy that she is no longer bringing her mother to the nursing home. Meanwhile, to get back at the priests, Enrique hires a detective to investigate for any information he can use against Father Jose and Father Ringo. Enrique becomes desperate to have his casino built in Bagong Pag-asa which is totally opposed by the townspeople. One morning after the mass, Enrique exposes to the public the past crime of Father Ringo.

After getting a huge money donation, not knowing it came from Baby, the priests decide to send Cocoy and other fortunate kids to school. On the other hand, Stella loses her job at the diner after her mom spoke with the manager. Stella fears that for as long as her parents hold power in the town, she can never got a job on her own. But Cocoy promises to help her find a way to pay for her own schooling. Meanwhile, Malena becomes more suspicious that her husband has another woman, but when she confronts him about the matter, Enrique always comes up with an excuse. The next day, Father Anthony returns to the delight of the other priests. He tells the advice of the archbishop to stop Santino's healing sessions for the meantime for the safety of the boy.

Santino decides to invite people to come see the magic show of Ricardo. But one night at the carnival, Ricardo is surprised to see his ex-wife Kate, with her son Michael, among the audience. Kate later tells Ricardo that Michael is his son. However, she forbids him from telling their son the truth. The next day, Ricardo decides to leave the carnival and starts a new life some place else. Santino tells Kate about Ricardo, and at the church, she catches up on him. Kate and Ricardo reconcile, and Michael finally meets his real father.

Cheska works at the beer house to save up money so she can search for her birth mother in Bagong Pag-asa. Cheska believes that her mother, Ellen, once worked in the said beer house. She meets Tilde and Marj, the matron of the beer house. But Marj tells Cheska that she doesn't know anyone named Ellen. The truth is Marj is the real mother of Cheska. Marj goes to Cheska's surrogate parents and tells them about the young lady's whereabouts in exchange of money.

In the middle of her sexy performance on stage, Chesca was finally found by her surrogate parents after Marj led them to they work. There, it was revealed to her that Marj was indeed Ellen-the birth mother that she has been looking for all these years. Upon hearing the news, she was pretty much enraged. She took off as fast as she could and went straight to the monastery where Father Anthony took her in for the night. The following morning, Chesca finally decided to meet with her parents who have been waiting all night outside the monastery for her. After speaking with her real mother to clear things out, she finally decided to reunite with the people who took good care of her like their very own flesh and blood.

Mario drops by the Mayor's office to confront Enrique regarding his ill treatment towards Stella. But instead of realizing his own fault, Enrique grows more furious about the matter, putting all the blame to her poor daughter. With a lot of things confusing Stella at the moment, including her growing problem with her sick mother, she finally decides to break up with Cocoy so that she could focus on setting things straight with her family. Upon hearing of the news, Santino decides to visit Stella. And on the said visit, Santino sneaks in Malena's room with hopes that he could cure her.

Enrique catches Stella and Cocoy hiding inside her room. When Malena hears of this news, she immediately decides to separate the two lovers for good by sending her daughter to America. Stella is left helpless. Not wanting to be sent away from the love of her life, she discreetly slips in a letter to Cocoy asking him to elope. Unfortunately, as wished by Malena who had heard of their plan, Cocoy gets arrested by the police before he even reaches their meeting place. Thinking that Cocoy may have abandoned her, Stella went back home and submit herself to her mother's desires. And upon arriving home, enraged Enrique drags Stella to the airport.

A well-loved grade three teacher from Santino's school is informed of her upcoming discharge due to the institution's cutback. Only a year away from her retirement, Ms. Antazo has been considered as one of the possible candidates for dismissal. Due to her intense passion for teaching and great love for her students, the old maiden tries to appeal to those in power. Unfortunately, the authorities are more concerned with the institution's income rather than its principles, thus their decision remains unmoved. How can Santino possibly make a change in the life of another weary soul?

Santino bumps into Ms. Nieves Antazo at the cemetery as she silently pays respect to her parents' grave. She breaks down into tears upon realizing that she might have made the wrong choice in life, just as her parents suspected during her early years. She looks back at everything she gave up just to pursue her teaching career, and she couldn't help but feel a strike of regret now that she lost the very reason why she is alive. On the other hand, Enrique's devious plan to regain possession of the golden image of Sto. Nino for his personal interest falls into place as Father Anthony gets convinced that the municipal hall could give it the needed protection.
Episode 54
The priests in the monastery discover that the municipal government is collecting donations from the devotees of the golden Sto. Niño that now peacefully dwells in their town hall. Thinking that Enrique may be using it for such an ill cause, the priests drop by the said office to find out for themselves. To their surprise, they discover that the Mayor uses the said proceeds to feed the needy; little do they know, the said plot is part of the incumbent Mayor, who is hoping for a re-election, to prepare his own image for the upcoming election; as planned by no other than his now cured wife Malena. As for the weary Ms. Antazo, Santino, together with some of his friends, decide to help her regain her beloved profession by coming up with a small study group willing to take in Ms. Antazo as their well-loved personal teacher.

Malena and Enrique's act fooled the whole town, including the priests in the monastery, into believing that the golden Sto. Niño is indeed miraculous. Realizing that Malena's wit could gain him another term in office, Enrique decides to finally let go of Tilde and knit things up with his wife. Aside from the unexpected break-up, another surprise comes to Tilde's attention. The girl who consistently calls her for questioning regarding the disappearance of a certain girl named Teresa suddenly appears before her. Quite worried that her name will be incorporated on the crime committed to Teresa, who was found floating along the river a few years ago, Tilde immediately agrees to help the searching party.

After seeking the help of Mario, Tilde finally admits to Janet that the girl she has been looking for, Teresa, is already dead. Together with this revelation, Tilde also shares to the new comer the real reason why Teresa went to Bagong Pag-asa in the first place; to collect the money she owed her. She says that she kept this truth in silence for a very long time because she feared that the police might see this as a motive for murder. Upon hearing of the said revelation, Janet suddenly breaks down. Now that she had confirmed that her best friend is already dead, her concern shifts to her deceased friend's missing child. On the other hand, Ms. Antazo receives the school officials' final verdict regarding her dismissal. Alone in the comfort of her own home, she loses consciousness after thinking too much about her great loss. Good thing, Santino and his friends immediately came in to the rescue. They rush her to the nearest hospital where she gladly wakes up surrounded by her former students whom she considers children of her own.
Episode 57
As Janet lays her eyes on Santino, she couldn't help but see his resemblance to her deceased friend, Teresa. If she has no idea that Teresa's son, Gabriel, might be staying with her former landlord somewhere in Manila, she might have thought that Santino is indeed the kid she is looking for. Upon his return to the monastery, Santino immediately informs the priests of his new found friend, taking them by surprise. They used to think that Teresa is Santino's mother, but after Father Anthony received a confirmation that she isn't, he insists to keep the said detail from their foster child Santino. Before Janet left Bagong Pag-asa, she accidentally bumps into Malena. To the latter's surprise, the said meeting revived memories she chose to bury a long time ago; the truth behind Teresa's death.
Episode 58
After an unexpected visit from his nephew he hadn't seen for such a long time, it is revealed that Mario happens to have a half-sister, who used to be a former sexy star, named Adel San Jose. At the peek of the former actress' career, she unexpectedly got pregnant. The said pregnancy conceived Boy George, which she claims to be the cause of the downfall of her then blooming career. Since Boy George could remember, his mother continuously blames him for all the misfortunes happening in her life; giving her all the reasons to purposely maltreat him. But despite all the pain his mother bestows upon him, he continues to seek for her affection, hoping that one day her mother could finally give him the motherly love that he needs.
Episode 59
Fed up with the almost unending torture, Boy George decides to pack all his things up and head out the door, leaving his mother behind, alone. With no other place to go, he goes straight to his Uncle Mario's home, wherein he also discloses the maltreatment his mother does to him. After hearing the said revelation, Mario confronts his sister who, unfortunately, falls short on listening to his argument. Upon Boy George's decision to return home, Adela welcomes him with a cold treatment. On the other end, people in Bagong Pag-asa are starting to doubt whether or not the golden image of the Sto. Niño is miraculous, as previously claimed. And since this issue is starting to raise eye brows, plus the critical issue regarding the image's security, the priests in the monastery decide to let the arch bishops to take custody of it. Unfortunately for Enrique, the said plan serves as a great hindrance on his devious scheme.
Episode 60
Even behind bars, Adela continues to maltreat his son Boy George. As Santino stands witness to the said ill treatment, he couldn't help but show concern towards his new friend. Santino tries to enlighten Adela but she refuses to hear him out as she stands firm with her belief that all the mishaps in her life is caused by Boy George's conception. Completely fed up with his mother's rants, Boy George runs away from home again; but this time, he is very much decided that it will be for good. After her release from prison, Adela is not surprised that she has to go in an empty house. What truly surprised her is the unexpected birthday gift Boy George left for her; her favorite necklace which she pawned to one of her friends a long time ago.
Episode 61
With no one else to turn to, Adela decides take into consideration Santino's offer. He openly discloses to her how much her son Boy George truly loves her. With the help of his words, Adela gradually realizes all the mistakes she had done towards her kid. After the said realization, she immediately decides to get in touch with him so she could pay him all the necessary apologies. Unfortunately, Boy George is put behind bars after assaulting a man who unknowingly bad-mouthed his mother. Concerned of her son's stature, Adela rushes to the police station. Upon sight of her, Boy George relentlessly shoves her away, but this doesn't stop her; it only pushes her to finally speak of all the suppressed feelings she has, including her love for her son. After spending ample time in prison, and hearing all the words he was longing to hear from his mother, he finally decides to go back home.
Episode 62
While Enrique whines all over the place after being double crossed by the men he hired to steal the golden image of the Santo Niño, Malena silently celebrates her victory. Aside from taking pleasure from Enrique's failure without her help, she is also pleased by the overwhelming amount deposited in her account in exchange of the real golden image of the Santo Niño, which she discreetly took from Enrique after replacing it with a phony image. Unfortunately, her pleasure will not be standing for too long because Enrique finally discovers her devious plot; and upon realizing it, he comes up with a more devious scheme.
Episode 63
In order to get back at Malena, Enrique hires a group of armed men. The plan is simple: the men are to enter their home and hold Malena hostage; after Malena signs the withdrawal slip, they are to immediately leave. Unfortunately, the plan goes out of hand after one of the housemaids they hold captive found a way to escape and tip the authorities. Immediately, the house is surrounded by the police, ready to attack. And when they are about to barge in the crime scene, Enrique immediately stops them by suggesting that he will try to negotiate with them instead. Inside their home, Enrique continues with the act, which later on left Malena with no choice but to submit to their desires.
Episode 64
Enrique successfully withdraws the money from his wife Malena's account. After he hands over the bag of cash to the hired thieves, Selda and Mario suddenly comes out to chase the culprits. On the said pursuit, the gangsters decide to hide the bag in a parked truck before searching for cover. Instantly, Selda and Mario lose sight of them; but unfortunately, after the two police have left, the culprits realize that the truck is already gone, bringing with it their boss Enrique's money. On the other hand, Carla tries to talk with her older sister regarding the growing gap between them. Sadly, before she even says a word, she is immediately driven away. For some reason, her sister has developed a grudge against her for being a perfect little daughter in the eyes of their father; the very reason why he had never seen her in good light. Little does she know, daddy's good little girl has a little secret, which doesn't make her that perfect after all.
Episode 65
After hearing of the truth regarding the possibility that his mother is still alive, Santino grows a little depressed. He spends the whole day in the cemetery meddling on the thought about his mother. On his way back to the monastery, he sees Carla again, crying. Concerned of the young lady, he immediately approaches her to ask her what is wrong. With no one else to talk to, Carla decides to admit her problem to Santino. She tells him she is pregnant and she doesn't know how to tell it to his father who sees her as his perfect little daughter. Carla asks for her older sister's help right after the latter catches her experiencing morning sickness. But instead of offering a hand, she instantly turns her back. The next morning, she changes her mind about helping out Carla after their father realizes his favorite daughter's secret. She courageously defends Carla in front of their enraged father. Despite all the grudges she has against Carla, she still ends up being her little sister's main refuge.
Episode 66
After Manolo Sandoval realizes that the whole town is gossiping about his daughter's untimely pregnancy, he decides to lock Carla up in the house. And in order to avoid tainting his very much preserved name, he also ends up suggesting abortion to his precious little daughter. Carla's older sister, Judith, overhears his father's mischievous plan so she decides to help Carla escape. On their way out, their mother catches them; but instead of stopping them, she decides to go along with them. With nowhere else to go, Carla leads them to the monastery where Father Anthony welcomes them to spend the night. After realizing that his family ran away, enraged Manolo rushes to the monastery to retrieve them. Father Anthony stops him, suggesting that he needs a little more time to think everything over before talking with his family, particularly with Carla. Judith, too, helps with his father's enlightenment process as she bares all her grudges against him.
Episode 67
Manolo hears of his daughter's plan to go in a shelter for single mothers. Upon hearing this, he finally decides to get her back before he loses her for good. He pays the needed apology for his actions, which Carla heartily accepts. After realizing, too, that he has been an inadequate father towards Judith, he also confronts her to ask for her forgiveness. In tears, Judith is moved by his father's enlightenment; and for the very first time, she feels she is part of their family once again. On the other end, a lonely couple ends up probing the small town of Bagong Pag-asa. Persistent to find their long lost child, they drop by the monastery to ask help from above; where by chance, they bump into the miraculous orphan Santino.
Episode 68
Gary and Miriam's kid has been lost for years, but they have never given up on looking for him. With the help of Selda and Mario, their search is made easier. The two police keep on showing them pictures of reported missing children surrendered in orphanages around town; but she confirms that none of the said children is her son. To his dismay, Gary decides to finally give up on the search; so he tells his wife that if the next child that Selda and Mario will be introducing to them is not their son, then they will finally submit themselves to the truth that they will never ever find him.
Episode 69
Though disheartened, the priests in the monastery are willing to submit Santino to Miriam and Gary once they prove that they are the real parents of the wonder kid. Though the blood ties between the Santino and the couple are not yet confirmed, the bond between the two parties are indeed undeniable. The two parties compliment each other very well, raising an uneasy feeling of jealousy on the part of Father Jose, the closest priest to Santino. Knowing that his fatherhood to Santino is nearing its end upon the return of his real parents, he couldn't help but burst into tears.
Episode 70
Gary notices how Santino brightens up the day of his wife, so he decides to ask the priests in the monastery to let the child go home with them while waiting for the DNA test results. Father Anthony doesn't approve of the said suggestion, but he instantly gives in to the request after Santino himself approves of Gary's suggestion. Among all the priests, Father Jose is the one most affected of Santino's decision; but despite his personal interests, he admits to Santino that he is truly happy that he had found the family he has been looking for all those years. On the other hand, Malena hears of the said news. Upon confirming that Santino is bound to go for good, she feels great relief because the one and only evidence behind Santino's mother's death will be gone forever.
Episode 71
The DNA test result that Gary brought home reveals that Santino is in fact their missing son. The couple immediately informs the priests in the monastery about this, together with their plans of bringing Santino back to Manila with them. As a final request, Father Anthony asks the couple if they could lend them the child before they leave the town for good. The two willingly agrees. Along the way, it is revealed that the result of Santino's DNA test result is counterfeited, by no other than Malena; but unfortunately for her, Mario and Selda immediately discovers the said scam after the supervisor of the testing center confirms that the result is indeed negative. The said news instantly breaks the couple's heart.
Episode 72
After receiving a confirmation from the DNA testing center that Santino isn't really the son that Gary and Miriam is looking for, the latter is left with no choice but to break the news to the poor child. Upon hearing the painful news, Santino instantly bursts into tears. With too much pain in his heart, he immediately runs into Bro's embrace. Bro selflessly consoles Santino's burdened heart, giving him enough courage to go back in the monastery and face his surrogate mother. Finally, he decides to let go of her despite his intense longing for a motherly love. To the poor child's rescue, his family in the monastery and friends willingly offer their comfort. On the other end, greatly influenced by Santino's optimism, Gary and Miriam push through with the search for their missing son.
Episode 73
Enrique discovers the news regarding Santino's unsuccessful departure from Bagong Pag-asa. Dismayed of the unexpected news, he practically goes furious, putting all the blame on his wife Malena and her poor planning. On the other hand, Santino is still not over the pain of his disappointment. Still in search for a motherly care, he ends up missing as he obliviously walks through the streets of their town with high hopes that his instincts will bring him closer to his mother. Upon realizing Santino is gone, the priests in the monastery immediately go in search for him, but to no avail. Fortunately, Abby, who is then on her way home, catches sight of poor Santino sleeping in a waiting shed. Upon seeing Abby, Santino mistakenly takes her as his mother.
Episode 74
After realizing that Santino is indeed lost, Abby takes the initiative to guide him back to the monastery. Despite his return, Father Jose can not hide his dismay regarding Santino's irrational acts, so he decides to confront him regarding his shortcoming. On the other hand, Abby too is scolded by her grandfather, Carlos, after she decides to turn down his offer. Carlos wishes Abby to takeover their tocino business, but she refuses; she suggests selling the business instead, an idea which further enrages Carlos. After giving it much thought, Carlos finally decides to give in to his granddaughter's wishes, in spite of his refusal to give up the business that he and his wife worked hard for.
