The N-Tek team invades THI to free Steel, whose capabilities may be lost forever if it takes too long.

Worse, he next starts tsunami-high waves, which sweep away astronauts and their space shuttle from N-Tek's launching base (along with N-Tek personnel, including Molly). Engaging a new TURBO Mode, Max and Steel find an underwater lair, where the passengers are imprisoned, and start a mud and cement fight.

The Thrill of the Hunt

Uncle Forge commandeers Steel to break through a stranded space ship's forcefield and turn it off so his team can take a mysterious case from it, then sends Max and Steel away. That allows Dredd's human contracted thief, Troy Winters, and two henchmen to ambush N-Tek's blinded transport and steal the case for Dredd, who then refuses to pay until it's rendered 'complete and operational'. That requires stealing more alien technology from a recently discovered THI vault. As Max strives to get it back, despite Elementors on the road, Steel experiences troubling familiarities at several points.

The salesman considers $600 a steal, ignoring that it's not in his books because it was erroneously parked in his yard by two moronic henchman who were to deliver it with a mysterious content to Extroyer. Furious, Extroyer kidnaps Max's girlfriend Sydney; Max and Steel must sneak out during Max' driving exam while his tame instructor sleeps through the ensuing fight. Extroyer gets his prize - DNA samples of the most dangerous animals - and tests some on Max Steel.

The Truth Hurts

The Elementors believe they no longer need Dredd, having stolen his blueprints to tap into TURBO energy with UltraLink technology. Max, feeling guilty for repeatedly standing up girlfriend Syndey every week, decides to tell her his superhero identity. Steel reluctantly ends up allowing Max to demonstrate their TURBO power. Elementors attack, determined to make Max Steel one of them. With Max captured but Ultimate Elementor divisive over their plan's failure, Sydney heads a rescue, which puts them all in extreme danger and all up for surprises.

The Secret Admirer

Max is not amused, let alone as charmed as she, when secret admirer flowers arrive for his mother (even abusing his first suspect at N-Tek). The real trouble starts in the morning when the roses' scent transforms her into a hostile, poison-eating, monster-barfing zombie. Berto discovers it's the result of an air-transmitted, artificially developed virus. Indeed, it's the vengeance plot of Toxzon, who enlists her as his new partner in mayhem, Toxiana.

Longing desperately for a past, Steel leaves Max to attempt to tap into the memory of the closest thing to a fellow alien species member - Extroyer's UltraLink. That leads to a connection whereby both become dysfunctional, and leaves Max unable to tap into TURBO power through Steel (whom even Berto seems unable to repair). An Extroyer attack at THI forces immediate action, despite fighting without Steel.

It directs them to desert coordinates, prompting a road trip to avoid N-Tek detection. Unbeknownst, Jason Naught tracks them (as does Dredd to Naught), hoping to be lead to a prize. Eventually, Jason plays his hand, as does Dredd. Max/Steel takes them on, but after fierce fighting finds the pair a bit too formidable. Fortunately, help arrives.

It's actually just another zombie-inducing formula to make Ultimate Elementor his puppet.
