Episode 1
Auditions Round 1: Today Sharone, Tracy, Mike, Slim, Jake, Tony and Lee get aprons.
Episode 2
Auditions Round 2: Today Whitney B., Whitney M., Faruq, Avis, David, Sheena, Hollie, Joe, Jennifer, Ryan, Adele, Dominic, Scott, Max, Charmaine, Sheetal, Jenna,and six more contestants get spots.
Episode 3
The final 30 cut onions; any contestant unable to cut onions to the judges' standards was immediately eliminated. The remaining contestants were each given a single egg, and given 30 minutes to make a dish with the egg as the centerpiece.
Episode 4
The contestants were given their first Mystery Box. Sheena's, Jake's and Whitney's were the top three, and Whitney cooked the best dish. The Elimination Test revolved around cooking Chinese cuisine.
Episode 5
The team challenge saw the chefs being asked to cook for 100 Marines, with the judges deciding on the winning team. In the pressure test, whoever named the fewest ingredients in Graham's Texas chili would be eliminated.
Episode 6
The Mystery Box Challenge required the contestants to bake cupcakes. The winner, Sharone was introduced to chef Cat Cora and shown three of her signature dishes, one of which he and all the other contestants would have to replicate.
Episode 7
Team Challenge: the teams had to cook hamburgers for 100 truckers. The truckers voted for the winner. In the Pressure Test, the losing team members were asked to identify ingredients. Whoever identified the fewest items was sent home.
Episode 8
The creative cooking competition hosted by Gordon Ramsay continues as the remaining contestants face a snappy mystery box and a romantic elimination test.
Episode 9
After cooking for 230 guests at a wedding reception, a pasta pressure test will decide the fate of two more contestants.
Episode 10
The contestants face a mystery box which contains venison, and then must make a vanilla dessert to survive.
Episode 11
After going fishing for their main ingredient, the final five prepare a sculpin-based dish for three esteemed food critics.
Episode 12
The final four compete in two one-on-one cook-offs, making dishes chosen by Gordon, Graham and Joe.
Episode 13
The final two contestants have two hours to cook their best starter, main and dessert.
