Episode 1
Choi Gang-u creates Mad Dog, an investigation team, after an airplane crash takes the life of his wife and son. Two years later, he meets Kim Min-jun, brother of the co-pilot, who was accused of crashing the aircraft on purpose.
Episode 2
Two years ago, Gang-u's team was investigating an insurance fraud case perpetrated by Ko Jin-cheol. While chasing him down, the team's newbie gets in a car accident, causing Gang-u to miss a flight with his wife and son.
Episode 3
Min Jun threatens Gang-u with a clip containing illegal deeds Mad Dog committed while investigating cases. Gang-u secretly enters Min Jun's house, finding articles related to the plane crash posted on his walls.
Episode 4
Gang-u finds out that Min Jun is after Lee Mi-ran, who made Beom Jun take out 8 different insurance policies before the plane crash. Gang-u helps Min Jun by chasing Han Seong-jin to find out why Min Jun is investigating a dead woman.
Episode 5
Gang-u and Min Jun pursue Lee Mi Ran, who is still alive. Meanwhile, Hong-ju realizes there's a dark secret regarding the plane accident that's thought to be a suicidal crash.
Episode 6
Gang-u doesn't understand why Ko Jin-cheol killed Lee Mi Ran and why he had to hurt Min Jun. Mad Dog members concoct a plan to catch Ko Jin-cheol. Meanwhile, Hyeon-gi instructs Jin-cheol to make sure Min Jun is dead.
Episode 7
Ha-ri, Nu-ri, and Sun-jeong work together to find out who killed Ko Jin-cheol at the police station. Gang-u and Min Jun trade information to figure out the secret behind the crash and why Lee Mi-ran said Taeyang Insurance was involved.
Episode 8
Becoming manager of the Claims Examination Team again, Gang-u uses all his resources to trace Kim Beom-jun's original insurance policy. Gang-u finds out that the dates on the policies were fabricated.
Episode 9
Gang-u is deeply saddened that his friend of 22 years, Han-u, has betrayed him. Meanwhile, Min Jun approaches Hyeon-gi and learns that the new evidence to solve the mystery of Flight 801 accident is with Chairman Cha.
Episode 10
Gang-u saves his Mad Dog members from Chairman Cha's trap. Hong-ju warns Gang-u to stay low. Min Jun gets attacked. Meanwhile, Mad Dog investigate insurance claims that went unpaid to fund the Flight 801 payoff.
Episode 11
Mad Dog members discover Nu-ri is Chief Prosecutor On's son. The prosecutors from Seoul Prosecutors' Office seize and search Mad Dog's office and confiscate everything, including the video of Kim Beom-jun's original insurance policy.
Episode 12
Nu-ri fights for his life after the stabbing. Chief On meets with Hyeon-gi to make a deal. Hong-ju plots to bring Hyeon-gi down. Meanwhile, Min Jun holds a press conference to reveal the original cockpit voice recording.
Episode 13
Gang-u and Min Jun get arrested at the press conference for making false accusations. Min Jun feels guilty, so he claims responsibility. Meanwhile, Hyeon-gi tells Hong-ju that her father, Chairman Cha, killed his father.
Episode 14
Gang-u reveals to Hong-ju he has a recording of her making a deal with Chief Prosecutor On. Hyeon-gi holds a press conference to confess something shocking.
Episode 15
Hyeon-gi releases files blaming his dead father for the plane crash, putting pressure on Gang-u and Min Jun. Meanwhile, Yeong-ho tails Mad Dog and no one knows exactly who he is after.
Episode 16
Gang-u realizes that Yeong-ho has his eyes on Min Jun. Before the Mad Dog team gets a chance to reveal what Hong-ju and Hyeon-gi did, they hold a press conference.
