Frankie gets spooked being looked in the art school overnight and calls on Charlie to rescue her. Julia meets with her probation officer for the first time, but keeping her offenses hidden from her family may not be as easy as she hoped. Frankie reels at Di's intention of heading to New York with Clive and turns to Tom for comfort.

Frankie's life spins in a new and exciting direction as she farewells her mother.

Tom sets out to complete the tasks Katie set for him but things get complicated when Katie finds she is pregnant and refuses to tell Tom. Di and Clive arrive home from the U.S. and Clive, on his death bed, is taken straight to the hospital.

Clive decides he wants to die at home and calls on Di to honour a pact she made to help him die if his condition became too uncomfortable. Unsure if she can carry out her promise, Di calls on Frankie, Lewis and Dylan to help Clive achieve his last wish. Tom is still eagerly pursuing Katie but she stuns him with a devastating revelation that sends him reeling. Dylan makes a personal admission to his dying grandfather while Julia and Charlie's relationship turns a corner.
