Episode 5
With the Corona Virus of 2020 restricting travel, The National Geographic Channel was hampered from producing a full second season. To fill out the schedule Albert Lin was asked to revisit the footage he shot in Latin America back in 2018 and add new commentaries giving us background and behind the scenes insights. Three stories are covered: 1) Albert's quest to find more about the Mayan Civilization, 2) Albert's travels to Columbia to find the truth bout the legendary city of El Dorado, 3) Albert's visit to Machu Picchu in Peru to learn about the people who pre-dated the Inca's. The last two stories dominate this show with new footage not in the original shows. Albert Lin also talks about his prosthetic right foot, the accident that led to getting it, and how his trip to Columbia helped convince him that it was going to work just fine climbing steep hillsides. Albert also found the prosthetic foot gives him an advantage climbing through the jungle: Snakes can't bight through the titanium foot protecting him from snake bites.
