Lords of the Ocean is a reality TV show that follows Matt and Robin, two brothers who've inherited Dominion Diving, a family salvage, diving and marine service company business. The Lohnes brothers have also maintained a family legacy; their father's love of uncertainty, the unknown, the undiscovered, and the unworkable. Dominion Diving Limited is Canada's superior marine service force based in Nova Scotia. The company was founded in 1969 and has earned a solid reputation for pushing the limits and extremes of marine innovation throughout its history. Dominion Diving headquarters and Marine Operations Terminal, Duck Rock, are centrally located in Halifax Harbour on the Dartmouth side, providing an unmatched advantage to our clients for swift 24-hour marine service response. Dominion Diving's team is currently comprised of 40 personnel who operate and maintain our fleet of 6 Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), 7 multipurpose vessels, as well as numerous barges, cranes, forklifts, and vehicles. DDL has recently acquired a specialized Multicat adaptive tug, the DOMINION WARRIOR, to add to our fleet. All of our vessels and equipment are based out of our Halifax Harbour facility.

Winter storms froze a passenger ferry in place on the banks of a raging river. Matt races on land, while Herbie battles ice, tides and weather to get to the ferry on time.

Shawn and the dive team are working on a secretive job for the Canadian Navy. It's a logistical nightmare - with divers, shore connections and classified hardware being lowered down the ocean floor.

Post-Pana-Mania

Dominion's helping the port get ready for the largest container ships ever built. But the job is down and dirty with divers working as underwater ditch diggers. And they're not the only ones with a crappy job. A cruise ship arrives in town with a tankful of waste that needs to be emptied by Dominion's Honey Barge.

Dominion Diving is celebrating 50 years of business. Matt gets called away from the party by a job in Azerbaijan. But first, he needs specialized survival training.

Ramps & Robots

Matt has taken a job to help an oil rig uninstall some seafloor platforms. This is a deep and dangerous job, so it requires an ROV with a jackhammer arm - the problem is, Dominion doesn't have one. That's never stopped them before. Matt and Dwayne start to build a jackhammer robot arm attachment for one of their biggest ROVs. While Matt and Dwayne hurry to beat the clock, so are the divers. The Harbour Hopper, an amphibious sightseeing tour bus is having a rocky transition from road to water. The divers are using an on-board crane to lift heavy concrete slabs into the shore to extend the ramp. Diving in shallow water is dangerous and hard on the divers, not to mention the tide is on its way out, and the Harbour Hopper is on its way back. They need to finish the job before both those things happen.
