Episode 1
An Ontario couple, Susan and Chris Ellerton, are looking for the son they gave up for adoption in Scunthorpe. Second story is of soldier, Paul Wright, who was forced to leave his daughter Karina behind in Germany when posted home to England.
Episode 2
Christine Gillard is looking for her first child Marguerite; given up when the toddler became too much for her elderly grandmother to cope. The second story (also from Scotland) is of Robert Lindsey, who's looking for his Yugoslavian father.
Episode 3
At 39, Peter Gunn has struggled to come to terms with being given up for adoption by his birth mother when he was a baby. Although he was brought up by a loving family, a sense of abandonment contributed to his going down the path of addiction. Having put his life back on track, he still wants to hear why his birth mother acted as she did. The second story involves a 71-year-old man's search for his beloved sister, who disappeared from his life over 60 years ago.
Episode 4
Toxteth adoptee Christine Chesham, is looking for older sister Pamela Shaw, to discover whether she was indirectly responsible for her mom's alcoholism and death. The second story from Wiltshire, has Vicki Haskell looking to find any other blood relative, specifically her South African mother Eleanor Browne.
Episode 5
Two stories of women searching for their full brothers. Second story is about Tracy searching for her brother Thomas, born 17 Jan 1974.
Episode 6
Alley Lofthouse was a famous foundling dubbed 'Little Miss Mystery', and she's searching for the woman who left her (and her half brother) on a doorstep. In the second story, Jade Hartley is searching for her father, Tony King; a cricketer from Barbados.
