Episode 1
Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell revisit some of their most extraordinary searches to find out what happened after the families were reunited. They discover how these remarkable reunions have transformed people's lives, and what it is like to build a relationship with a family member after a lifetime apart.
Episode 2
Following reunited siblings Geoffrey Tonks and Barbara Jacobs as they investigate a family mystery and try to trace a missing sister. Geoffrey was the product of a war-time affair and spent his early years in Barnardo's. Before Barbara asked the 'Long Lost Family' team to find him, he had never met a single blood relative and his unhappy childhood meant he had no desire to learn about his past.
Episode 3
We follow three stories of sons coming to terms with the past. Our first story catches up with Marc Wolfe, who we reunited with his birth mother Esther in 2017. Unfortunately, we find out that they have subsequently struggled to form a bond. Our second story was too delicate to share on television until now. In 2017, Sheila Knox came to us desperate to find the baby she gave up for adoption when she was a 15-year-old schoolgirl.
