Joe and Sally are determined to keep their relationship a secret from the rest of the watch. A major fire in a hotel with a deactivated fire alarm provides a testing shout as the watch have to evacuate a party and make sure that all the guests are safe.

Episode #12.2

Following an assault allegation from the hotel manager, Graves, Recall is now under investigation by Divisional Officer Griggs, an old colleague of Chris's. Meanwhile, new addition Rob 'Hyper' Sharpe joins the watch.

Chris ends up in a sticky position when trying to rescue a man trapped on a window cleaner's cradle following a stag night prank. Geoff is still trying to decide whether to accept Fiona's proposal and tries to distract himself by working with Pitbull on Blackwall's attempts to win the Best Kept station prize.

Hyper is left red-faced after a shout at a mortuary, the Quigley's foster-child, Owen, has moved in and visits the station and Sally tries to talk round a woman who is trying to burn her ex-boyfriend's belongings inside her flat.

It's the day of Recall's disciplinary hearing for his alleged assault on the hotel manager. Meanwhile, Geoff ends up trapped when the rest of the watch are called to a collapsed trench on a building site where three workmen are buried alive.

Having been dismissed by the Brigade, Recall is now working in a hardware store and whilst his ex-colleagues want him re-instated he is unwilling to return. The watch, meanwhile, have to rescue a mother and baby following a severe road accident. The pump crew have a running call when a car catches fire on a petrol station forecourt.

Blue Watch are called when a fire starts during a protest against the demolition of houses, a newly promoted Griggs gives Chris some bad news and Recall finally goes to see Pat Kennedy to talk to him about changing his evidence over the alleged assault on Graves.

Recall has re-joined Blue Watch having been reinstated and the watch attend when smoke is spotted billowing from a house. Meanwhile, the watch prepare for Geoff and Fiona's wedding but a piece of news gives Geoff doubts ahead of his big day.

Following Chris's sudden transfer, new Station Officer John Coleman arrives and sets a challenging training drill for his new team. Later on, a fire at a drugs den leads to a severe car crash and a challenging shout for Coleman and the watch.

Blue Watch are still battling the blaze at the crack den and trying to rescue the victims of the RTA. Once the fire is all but out, Joe and Dan are sent inside the building to check but are unaware that the drug dealers are still inside.

Coleman asks Sicknote to organize a school play about fire safety with the rest of the watch, George moves in with Hyper having left Kelly, Dan and Hyper have to mount a rescue from a capsized boat and a gutted Geoff has to give his dog, Bruno, up to Pitbull after finding out that Fiona is allergic to him.

Convinced that Hyper has something to hide Geoff decides to dig into his past provoking Hyper to give them some news that does not go down well with Geoff and Joe. Later on, Joe is reluctant to help Hyper when he gets trapped in a lift shaft on a shout.

The watch have to free a magician trapped in a cabinet and rescue a boy trapped at the top of the big wheel at a fairground. George's daughter Ruby is at the same fairground and he and estranged wife Kelly are brought back together when she goes missing there.

George is the hero when a stewardess becomes trapped in a smoke filled plane during a training exercise and after a night out Joe's brother Eddie is caught up in an arson attack when he stays over with a woman he meets.

George receives his 20 years service medal but gives Kelly the cold shoulder when she attends the ceremony, the watch put on a performance of Sicknote's fire safety play at a school and find themselves having to put out a real fire. Later on, the watch have to rescue men trapped in a warehouse booby-trapped by gangsters.
