Episode 1
Alison never intended to get paralytically drunk on her twentieth birthday, but did. And now at the age of twenty years and nine months, she's the mother of an 8lb boy, coping with the help of her best friend and flat mate, Judith.
Episode 2
Two weeks after the birth, Alison is dying for some sleep, the Child Support Agency want the father's name, her mum is on her way, and neighbours Trish and Sylv seem to spend all their time in her flat.
Episode 3
Alison has been stuck indoors with her new baby for two months and has a bad case of cabin fever.
Episode 4
Alison finds a worrying damp patch on the wall. Meanwhile, her flatmate Judith is agonizing over a difficult career choice: whether to remain a penniless musician or become a rich, bored management consultant.
Episode 5
The baby is six months old and, with spring in the air, Alison's libido is revving up. When she decides to do some nude modeling for an art class, she finds herself particularly interested in the teacher.

Alison decides it's time to go to college but her mum, Trish, and Sylv are far from keen.
