But when a woman is killed in a similar manner, they look at the woman's abusive fiancee who was upset at her antics during a friend's bachelorette party. But Graff doesn't think it's him, but Inspector Holness pulls rank on him. When another person is killed in the same manner, they eventually discover they have a serial killer in their mist and they know who the killer is, but they don't have enough evidence for an arrest.

They learn she was having an affair. But when the ones involved are cleared. They provide a new lead. The woman visited a convicted killer in prison and she was inquiring about his past. They think that someone didn't like that.
