Episode 2
The 2nd heat of season seven features 8 invited artists producing a landscape of the Compton Verney Grounds designed by Capability Brown, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card working nearby. The judges will pick a winner to advance.
Episode 3
The third heat of season seven features 8 invited artists producing a landscape of Whitstable Harbour, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card working from the west quay overlooking the beach. The judges will pick a winner to advance.
Episode 4
The fourth heat of season seven features 8 invited artists producing a landscape of the Eden Project terraced gardens, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card working deeper in the gardens. The judges will pick a winner to advance.
Episode 5
The 5th heat of season seven features 8 invited artists producing a landscape of Compton Verney House, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card working elsewhere on the grounds. The judges will pick a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 6
The seventh season semi-final features the five heat winners and a single wild card, their task is to capture the massive and red iconic Forth Bridge in Scotland. From these competitors the judges will select the three finalists.
Episode 7
The seventh season final features the three finalists producing a landscape of Levens Hall topiary garden, they are also each given a commission to paint an iconic London location in their own time. Prize is a £10,000 commission
Episode 8
The winner of the 7th season of Landscape Artist of the Year undertakes a £10,000 commission from Manchester Art Gallery to create a landscape celebrating the regions industrial past on the 20th anniversary of re-opening of Rochdale Canal.
Episode 9
Six celebrity artists undertake a landscape/seascape in Whitstable on the coast of Kent, they are also charged with taking on the themes of climate change and environmental crisis. For the title of Celebrity Landscape Artist of the Year.
