Episode 2
The second heat of season 3 features 8 artists producing a landscape of the South Gare Steelworks at Teesside, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card painting the nearby harbor. The judges will decide who advances to the semi-final.
Episode 3
The third heat of season 3 features 8 artists producing a landscape of Rhossili Beach on the Gower Peninsula, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card painting the nearby Worm's Head promontory. The judges will select a semi-finalist.
Episode 4
The fourth heat of season 3 returns to Knaresborough with 8 invited artists creating a landscape of the Viaduct, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card by capturing the ruins of Knaresborough Castle. Who will advance to the semi-final

Episode 5
The fifth heat of season 3 sees 8 invited artists capturing an industrial landscape and harbour from inside due to strong winds, while 50 other artists battle the elements for a wild card by capturing the the shoreline and wind turbines.
Episode 6
The sixth heat of season 3 features 8 artists producing a landscape of the Worm's Head promontory. on the Gower Peninsula, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card painting nearby Rhossili Beach. The judges will select a semi-finalist
Episode 7
The third season semi-final features the six heat winners and a single wild card selected from all the episodes of the season, their task is Castle Farms fields of Lavender. From these 7 competitors the judges will select three finalists.
Episode 8
The final of the third season features the three finalists producing a landscape at the Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey, they are also each given a commission to paint a separate different landscape. The winner receives a £10,000 commission.
Episode 9
The winner of the third season of Landscape Artist of the Year undertakes a £10,000 commission for of a view from Noel Coward's Jamaican home Firefly. The completed work is unveiled at Theater Royal Drury Lane where it will be displayed.
