The first heat of season 10 features 8 invited artists capturing the East front of Hampton Court Palace in Surrey, while 50 other artists vie for a wild card elsewhere on the grounds. The judges will pick a winner to advance and wild card.
Episode 2
The second heat of season ten features eight invited artists capturing Mount Snowdon in Wales, the highest mountain in the UK. While 50 other artists vie for a wild card nearby. The judges will select a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 3
The third heat of season ten features eight invited artists capturing Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge completed in 1864. While fifty other artists vie for a wild card nearby. The judges will select a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 4
The fourth heat of season ten features eight invited artists in the St Pancras Basin with several different views. While fifty other artists vie for a wild card behind the pods. The judges will select a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 5
The fifth heat of season ten sees eight invited artists capturing the historic Dinorwic Slate Quarry in Wales. While fifty other artists vie for a wild card from behind the pods. The judges will select a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 6
The sixth heat of season ten sees eight invited artists facing Bristol's Hotwells district across the harbour. While fifty artists vie for a wild card further down the harbour. The judges will select a winner to advance and a wild card.
Episode 7
The tenth season semi-final sees the six heat winners and the wild card winner in their pods facing HMS Victory and the Portsmouth's dockyard. From these competitors the judges will select the seasons three finalists.
Episode 8
The 10th season final sees the 3 finalists producing a landscape of Stonehenge, they are also given a separate commission - a landscape close to their home. Prize is a £10,000 commission of the South of France for the Courtauld Gallery.
