S1 E2 Trelissick
The second heat of the first season features 8 invited artists producing a landscape at Trelissick, on the Fal Estuary in Cornwall to advance to the seasons semi-final. While another 50 artists vie for a chance as a wild card.
Episode 3
S1 E3 - Waddesdon Manor
The third heat of the first season features 8 invited artists producing a landscape at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire in order to advance to the seasons semi-final. While another 50 artists vie for a chance as a wild card.
Episode 4
Lyme Park
The fourth heat of the first season features 8 invited artists producing a landscape of the reflecting pool at Lyme Park in Cheshire in order to advance to the seasons semi-final. While another 50 artists vie for a chance as a wild card.
Episode 5
Waddesdon Manor
The fifth heat of the first season returns to Waddesdon Manor where 8 new artists have been invited to produce a landscape of the parterre, the winner will advance to the semi-final. Another 50 artists vie for a chance as a wild card.
Episode 6
Trelissick
The sixth heat of the first season returns to Trelissick where 8 invited artists will produce a landscape of a different view on the estate in hopes of advancing to the seasons semifinal. Another 50 artists vie for a chance as a wild card.
Episode 7
Semi-Final Tower Bridge
The first season semi-final features the six heat winners and a single wild card selected from all the episodes of the season, their task is a landscape of Tower Bridge in London. From these the judges will select the three finalists.
Episode 8
Final
The final of the first season features three finalists producing a landscape of the gardens at Stourhead in Wiltshire, they are also each given a commission to paint a different landscape. The winner receives a £ 10,000 commission.
Episode 9
The Winners Film
The winner of the first season of Landscape Artist of the Year undertakes a £10,000 commission to create a painting of Flatford in Suffolk made famous as the location for John Constable's The Hay Wain. Episode concludes with the unveiling,
