Episode 1
The Chase

Lamput escapes from the Lab, the Boss gives the job of orange-blob-retrieval to Doc Specs and Doc Skinny, who turn out to really suck at orange-blob-retrieval. Lamput gives them the slip again and again, and, true to form, the Docs decide to blame their tools. They convince the Boss to let them use more and more expensive vehicles, using an age-old corporate strategy commonly referred to as "diminishing returns". For scientists, these dudes sure are slow learners.

Rival Doc

Lamput has escaped yet again, and yet again, Specs and Skinny are in serious trouble with the Boss. He's so fed up with their constant failure that he hires an out-of-towner: a super cool, hi-tech Doc who has all the moves and the attitude to match. The new guy's hip to all of Lamput's tricks, and before long, the shape shifting blob is safely back at the Lab. Specs and Skinny, robbed of their whole gig, end up on the streets, while Rival Doc gets all the glory. With glory comes blame, though, and when Lamput stages yet another signature crafty escape, the Boss turns all his fury on Rival Doc. Who hired this guy, anyway!? Lamput just wants things to be how they were. The orange blob helps the Docs get back their jobs at the Lab, Rival Doc is sent packing, and Lamput prepares yet another daring escape.
Episode 3
The Split

Turns out constant, relentless failure can put a strain on a relationship. Specs and Skinny are no exception, and when yet another chase ends in embarrassment, misfortune, and physical injury, the Docs finally fall prey to "irreconcilable differences". For a shapechanger, Lamput sure doesn't like change; it's like mum and dad are fighting. Lamput sets about trying to help the Docs patch things up. When conventional methods fail, our orange buddy is forced to subvert the very fundamentals of animated storytelling. Lamput's perseverance finally pays off. The Docs have an epiphany: this blob trying to fix our friendship? Obviously that's the real enemy.
Episode 4
Water

Lamput faints of thirst on a desert highway, so already it's not a great day for the little orange shape-shifter. Add to that the fact that Specs and Skinny just happen by in a lockup van, and things go south pretty promptly. Specs and Skinny learn a valuable lesson: maybe if you're going to anger a morphing super-blob by throwing them in the back of a van and withholding precious water, you shouldn't do it whilst driving by a 100 foot cliff drop down to the open ocean. Hopefully these Docs are better swimmers than your average academic.

Future Tense

Skinny might be a man of science, but he's more than happy to get his fortune told for a laugh. The palm-reader sees alarming visions of Skinny's near future; mostly visions that relate to Skinny being squashed, smooshed or otherwise smeared. It's kind of Skinny's own fault; maybe if he paid a bit less attention to chasing Lamput and a bit more attention to not getting squashed, smooshed or smeared, he wouldn't need constant rescuing by a frazzled mystic.

Skinny at the Pool

Lamput flees into the local public pool, and masquerades as a swimming competition trophy. Clearly there's only one way for Skinny to catch his orange quarry. On your marks. Ready. Set.

Skinny Date Night

Ahead of the big dance, Skinny practices his moves so hard that he knocks himself out. Enter a very orange guardian angel.

Lamput and the spider

For a blob of goo, Lamput sure has a big heart; the orange softie really can't sleep until the little spider nearby has help building its web. Good deeds go a long way, too - when a swarm of nasty mosquitos decides to prey upon the sleeping Lamput, the little spider goes above and beyond to protect its new orange bestie. The spider wins in the end, although there's a bit of a close call at one stage. Why did Lamput decide to go to bed right next to a thousand foot drop to certain doom? We may never know.

Origins

It's a trip down memory lane when the Docs find an old childhood photo and reminisce about their first meeting so many years ago. It all started at Lab School, when Specs was a naive dork and Skinny was the school ruffian. A lot has changed since then, of course. Specs is now the tough guy, and Skinny is now the dork, and their early adventures set in motion a bunch of other consequences, too. Embittered, angry boss? Check. Moustachioed Chief of Police with an age-old grudge? Check. Also don't forget the lab experiment that went spectacularly wrong. That orange blob in the test tube: did that just move?

Pup Mix

Lamput gets mistaken for a guide dog, and the Docs try to nab their quarry without disturbing a nice old lady's pleasant day in front of the wireless. Good thing she can't see the chaos going on.

Age Remote

The Docs prove their inventing skills by coming up with an age-altering time-ray. This breakthrough could change the world. If they used it for something other than chasing Lamput. Obsessed much, fellas? Wildly shooting their time-ray off in public causes a not-unsurprising amount of chaos, until the local law enforcement gets caught in the cross-fire. Looks like the Specs and Skinny are gonna be in jail till they get old the normal way.

Dr Lamput

The Docs go out en masse to catch Lamput, there is a mishap with a bucket of grey paint, and no-one notices the extra Doc on the van-ride back to the Lab. Lamput-in-disguise is overwhelmed by the scale of the Lab's operations - but soon enough proves to be pretty sharp at this Doc business. To catch a Lamput, you've gotta think like a Lamput, see. Lamput's so good at science-ing that soon enough poor old Specs and Skinny are sacked with extreme prejudice. Lamput can't stand watching his old buddies kicked out on the street. If only folks would believe the newest Doc: under this grey exterior, there beats a heart as orange as orange can be.

Sunday Holiday

It might be Sunday, but Specs just won't let up: his obsession with Lamput knows no weekends. Skinny, on the other hand, knows just how to spend his day off. Asleep, that's how. Even if his workaholic buddy insists on dragging him through the usual pointless search. The call of a morning coffee wins the day, though; when Specs finally agrees to take a break, he discovers that even orange blobs like a sleep-in. And pancakes. Lots of pancakes.

Arm Wrestling

Fugitive Lamput ends up in a seedy dive by the waterfront. It happens when you're on the run. These thugs sure know how to have fun, though; people come from far and wide to be creamed at armwrestling by gigantic Mr Moustache. It's a jumpin' scene - until those two dorks from the Lab walk in, and start kicking up a stink about the new extremely orange trophy that's up for grabs. The Boss (apparently an old bikie at heart) is more than up for the arm wrestling challenge. It's the bicep-off of the decade, with Lamput as the prize.

Meet The Shrink
