Gordon also has his hands full with arrogant head chef Doug, his uncaring sous chef Charles, and a disorganized group of waitresses, but Gordon notices the kitchen is filthy beyond belief and must take drastic measures to bring the restaurant back to its former glory.

Gordon also has problems with general manager, Tom, who has grown accustomed to Dean's ways, an incompetent wait staff, and even head chef Mike, who has lost his passion for cooking. Though Dean wants his struggling restaurant to be a success, he becomes skeptical about some of Gordon's suggestions.
