Hank has been cut by the Philadelphia Eagles, but he was soon after signed by the Indianapolis Colts. Consequently, he and Kendra are now renting a house in Carmel, Indiana. They visit Kendra's new obstetrician where they see an ultrasound of the baby and learn that the baby is developing well. Later they go to Lamaze class and meet other couples who are going through the same experience. Hank makes a plaster cast of Kendra's pregnant belly. A week later, Kendra's mom Patti and brother Colin come to Carmel to stay with them, and Hank's parents Hank Sr. and Judy and his brother Randy also arrive. Kendra makes dinner for everyone with Judy and Patti's help, and announces that she is scheduled to have labor induced the following evening. To Kendra's surprise, her grandmother Mary also arrives at the house. After Kendra goes to the hospital, the labor process goes slowly and she is eventually taken to have a C-section. Kendra gives birth to a boy who weighs 9 pounds, 5 ounces.

Kendra is trying to lose weight to get back to her pre-pregnancy figure. Although Hank still tells her that she's beautiful, Kendra admits that she feels insecure about the way she looks. Hank's friend Aaron Francisco and his wife Nálani come over for dinner. The Franciscos are also recent parents, and they advise Hank and Kendra about going out on dates with each other again, which Hank and Kendra haven't had time to do with the baby taking up so much time. Kendra interviews Donna, a babysitter who comes well-recommended. Donna passes the interview. The night of Kendra and Hank's date arrives, and Kendra is anxious about leaving the baby, but Donna has the situation under control. Hank takes Kendra downtown for a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, after which they go to a steakhouse for dinner.

Kendra's friends Brittany Binger, Tiffany Fallon, and Jessica Hall come to visit her for a girls' weekend. They go to see Hank's Colts play the Ravens in the NFL playoffs. Kendra continues to feel insecure about her post-pregnancy body, particularly in comparison with her three friends. Hank tries to reassure her, telling her she will always be the only woman in the world for him. Kendra's friends also try to reassure her as well. Later, Kendra and her friends go out to dinner, and Kendra feels better. After dinner, the group goes to a nightclub, where Kendra shows her friends the way to smoke cigars.

Hank's Colts win the AFC championship and are headed to the Super Bowl in Miami. Kendra's agent calls and tells her that she is scheduled to do a bikini photo shoot on Super Bowl weekend in Miami to show off her post-pregnancy body for OK magazine. Kendra is very anxious about the photo shoot because she hasn't been working out. She starts intense workouts at the gym and continues until it is time for her to leave for Miami. In Miami, most of Hank's time is taken up with meetings, practices, and media appearances. Kendra goes to the Hard Rock Hotel to host a party at a nightclub, which she enjoys. The next day, she does the photo shoot, which goes reasonably well, although she says that her body isn't in the condition she plans to get it back to. Game day comes, and the Colts lose to the Saints. Hank gets blamed in part for the loss due his failure to recover an onside kick in the third quarter. After the game, Kendra feels scared while walking through the angry crowd back to the bus.

After returning home from the Super Bowl, Kendra and Hank talk about the verbal abuse that she and baby Hank suffered from fans after the game. Later, Kendra talks with Bridget Marquardt by webcam and tells her that she and Hank are planning to move back to Los Angeles in a couple of weeks, but they don't know where they're going to live yet. Bridget offers to look for possible homes for them. Later, Holly Madison comes to visit. She and Kendra note that a couple of years ago, Holly had thought she would be married and have a child by now, and Kendra had thought she would be living in Las Vegas, but now each of them is doing what the other had expected to do. Kendra and Holly go out to lunch and then go ice skating. After Holly leaves, Kendra expresses concern to Hank about them purchasing a house because they don't know what will happen in Hank's football career and Kendra never went to college. Hank reassures her that she has connections to be able to get a job, and that he will get a 9-to-5 job if need be. Eventually they get their belongings packed up and head off on their way to Los Angeles.

Kendra, Hank, and baby Hank set out on their road trip to California to move into their new home. Along the way, Kendra reminisces about her experiences living in Indiana, such as shopping for clothes with Nálani Francisco and reuniting with their fellow parents from Lamaze class. They stop in Branson, Missouri, where Mary O'Connor has a second home, and Mary gets to see the baby for the first time. Later, Kendra announces that she is going on a diet, but she decides to delay starting the diet when she sees a candy factory, which she and Hank take a tour of. Meanwhile, Bridget and her boyfriend Nick visit houses in the Los Angeles area for Kendra and Hank to rent. They recommend one in particular, and Kendra and Hank end their journey by traveling to that house to move in. They are impressed by the house as soon as they approach it, and inside the house they are greeted by Kendra's mom, grandma, and brother.

Kendra and Hank bring in Dawn, an interior designer, to help them furnish their new house. Dawn walks through the house with them, and it becomes clear that Kendra and Hank have different ideas on how to furnish their home. Later, they go to a furniture store, where Kendra and Hank's preferences continue to diverge. However, Hank says he knows that when it comes down to a dispute over decor, Kendra is going to get what she wants, and Kendra also says that she knows she is going to get what she wants. Also, Hank and Kendra go to a staffing service to find out about hiring help. Kendra is impressed by all the different kinds of staff they can hire, but Hank is concerned about the cost. They bring in two applicants for a bodyguard position, a man named Alan a.k.a. "Ray the Raw" whom Kendra had met while he was working security at the Playboy Mansion, and Michelle, a female black belt.

Kendra and Hank appear on the "Chelsea Lately" talk show. Later, they take baby Hank to the Playboy Mansion so Hef can see the baby for the first time. Unbeknownst to Kendra and Hank, Bridget is planning a surprise party for them (and making numerous cupcakes for the party) to welcome them back to L.A. under the guise of a small dinner party. Back at home, Kendra and Hank are tired from all the unpacking they have to do, but they nevertheless head out to Bridget and Nick's home. When they get there, they are surprised to see all the guests and decorations. The party is attended by Kendra's family and friends as well as various Playboy Mansion habitués. After the party, Kendra and Hank express gratitude to be back in L.A. where they have all kinds of family and friends for support.

Kendra is planning to film a new workout video. She tries working out to her "Girls Next Door Workout" video from a few years before, but she finds it hard to keep up. She arranges to work with a personal trainer to prepare. The first trainer she tries working with is Nicky, an English former professional soccer player. Kendra is impressed by him immediately and starts training with him. Eventually she goes to shoot the video along with Nicky. Kendra completes the video, but she's exhausted by the end. Meanwhile, Hank is looking to sign with another NFL team after being released by the Colts, and his agent tells him that the Eagles, his previous team, are interested. Hank flies out to Philadelphia to take a physical for the team, which results in the team signing him. Both Hank and Kendra are enthusiastic about him rejoining the Eagles because he had left the team on good terms and they liked the city when he played there before.

Eddie sees an item on the Internet speculating whether Kendra and Hank's marriage is in trouble because Kendra was seen without her wedding ring. Kendra says that she can't fit the ring on her finger due to her weight gain from pregnancy and that she is very frustrated by the gossipmongers scrutinizing her. Hank is offered a job modeling clothes in a photo shoot for the Triple F.A.T. Goose brand. He accepts it even though he admits he doesn't know how to model. Kendra, accompanied by Brittany Binger, goes to see Dr. Garth Fisher to learn about liposuction and other plastic surgery she wants. Dr. Fisher tells Kendra she can get liposuction the next day if she wants. Kendra tells Hank of her desire to get plastic surgery, but he dissuades her from doing so, telling her that it's only been four months since she gave birth and he can see she is losing weight. Instead, Kendra goes to see a psychotherapist to talk about how she feels about the way other people see her. Hank does his modeling job successfully, and later Kendra manages to get her wedding ring back on her finger.

Kendra and Hank go to Las Vegas for the weekend together, leaving baby Hank in care of Jeannie the nanny. They ride one of the thrill rides at the Stratosphere with some of their friends, and later Kendra hosts a party at the MGM Grand's Wet Republic pool. Other friends and family members are around as well, including Kendra's mom Patti. Later, Kendra and Hank go to dinner with Holly Madison and other friends, and then see Holly perform in the show "Peepshow." After the show, Holly invites them to help decorate her dressing room by drawing cartoon sheep on the wall. The next day, Hank has to leave to train with the Philadelphia Eagles, but he promises to take the earliest flight back home to Los Angeles the next weekend. Kendra stays around to be the guest instructor at a pole dancing class. That evening, Kendra returns home where she is reunited with the baby. She calls Hank in Philadelphia, who tells her that he's looking forward to seeing them soon.

Kendra is having a ghostwriter, Jon Warech, write her autobiography. She reviews a copy of the current draft and then meets with Jon to discuss more content for the book. Among other things, she talks about her ex-boyfriend, whom she broke up with to move into the Playboy Mansion, and who is threatening to release a sex tape of her. When she returns home, Kendra and Hank have an uncomfortable conversation about how revealing the book will be and how he will have to hear about Kendra's past from other people who have read the book. Later, Hank apologizes to Kendra for his reaction, and they make up. Kendra and Hank offer to pay for a vacation for Kendra's assistant Eddie to wherever he wants to go. They suggest places such as Miami, Cabo, or Hawaii, but Eddie tells them that the place he actually wants to go to is Indianapolis.
