Kendra Wilkinson begins her new life in her new house, having left the Playboy Mansion and having become engaged to football player Hank Baskett. Her friend Brittany comes by and they go grocery shopping together. When Kendra returns home, the first item of furniture to arrive is a stripper pole, which she has installed in the living room. Later, Kendra's mother Patti comes by and suggests that Kendra throw a housewarming party, which Kendra is enthusiastic about doing. Many of Kendra's friends show up for the party, including even Hugh Hefner with his new girlfriend Crystal. Later, Kendra struggles to get the house in order before her fiancé Hank comes to see it for the first time. She picks Hank up at the airport and takes him home to show him the house. Later, Kendra goes to the Bridal Bar with friends Amber and Brittany to start planning her wedding and try on wedding dresses. Kendra and Hank are invited to have dinner with Hef at the Playboy Mansion. This will be the first time Hank meets Hef, and both of them are nervous about how awkward the experience may be. However, Hef puts them at ease. He even invites Kendra and Hank to have their wedding at the Mansion. Kendra and Hank discuss this later, and while Hank is uncertain about the idea of getting married at Kendra's ex-boyfriend's house, he agrees to do so if that's what Kendra wants. She calls Hef and takes him up on the offer to have the wedding at the Mansion.

Kendra and Hank say goodbye to Hank's parents and set out on their road trip back to Los Angeles. This is the longest road trip they have taken together. On the way, they stop in Roswell and visit the UFO Museum, because Kendra is fascinated by aliens. They also visit Bedrock City, a roadside attraction in Arizona devoted to "The Flintstones." They make it to the Grand Canyon in time to watch the sun set over the canyon, which Hank considers the most romantic thing he has ever seen. Meanwhile, while Kendra is gone, Amber is uneasy about being alone in the house and goes with Brittany to take lessons at a shooting range. Kendra and Hank finally arrive back in Los Angeles, where they are pleased to see that Maranie (Kendra's brother's girlfriend) has organized the house while Kendra was gone.

Kendra wants to prove to Hank that she can be a good housewife and keep a clean house. She decides to hold a yard sale to get rid of some of the clutter so Hank can move his possessions into the house and to raise money for charity. Kendra recruits her friend Jonny Makeup to help advise her on pricing items for the sale. Jonny, Brittany, Maranie, and Kendra's family all show up and manage to get some customers for the sale, although the police also show up due to complaints about a tapestry being displayed featuring a nude picture of Kendra with the Girls Next Door. Kendra manages to remove certain items which had been mistakenly included in the sale before they are sold, such as her printer and her baby pictures. Later, Kendra tells Hank that Too $hort is coming to stay at the house for the weekend. Hank is uncomfortable about Kendra making a decision like that without telling him in advance, but he withdraws his objections since he has always wanted to meet the rapper. Too $hort arrives with a female friend and is soon after followed by his barber, who gives haircuts to both Hank and the rapper in the living room. Later, Kendra, Hank, Too $hort, and friends go to a club to party, where Kendra shows off her sexy dance moves for Hank. Hank comments that he likes Kendra's sexy dancing as long as other men are at least 10 feet away from her.

Kendra is going to Las Vegas to do a photo shoot for a Marc Ecko ad, and she takes Amber and Brittany with her to make it a girls' night out. While Kendra is gone, Hank stays home and cleans up the house. Jonny Makeup comes by to bring Kendra some clothes, but since she isn't home, Hank puts Jonny to work cleaning up after the dogs. In Las Vegas, Kendra does the photo shoot in the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms Casino. Once the shoot is over, Kendra and her friends go indoor skydiving. They like it so much that Kendra and Amber try it topless. Later, back at the villa, some of Kendra's friends come by and they all hang out in the villa's pool. Kendra returns home and is impressed by the clean house, although it becomes clear that the house won't remain clean for long when she starts emptying clothes out of a dresser onto the floor.

Amber and Brittany take Kendra for a bikini wax, which Kendra is apprehensive about because she has never had one before. Later, Kendra goes to a bridal boutique with Bridget Marquardt, and she succeeds in selecting bridesmaid's dresses and a gown for herself. She later takes Hank out to a florist's shop to select flowers for the wedding. Back at home, Kendra is surprised when Hank says he has to pick up his parents at the airport; she thought that they weren't coming in until the next day. Kendra frantically tries to clean up the house before Hank returns with his parents. Once they arrive, they all go to the Playboy Mansion to see the location where the wedding will take place. Soon after arriving at the Mansion, they are joined by Hef, who invites them all to stay for dinner. Hank's parents get along with everybody at the Mansion, including Hef's new girlfriends and other Mansion habitués, and they are impressed by the homelike and family-like atmosphere.

Kendra is planning a dinner party for six. She asks her assistant Maranie to clean the house and get things like a tablecloth, napkins, and silverware. Kendra's mom and grandma come to the house to help, and they all go to the grocery store to buy the food. Kendra realizes that she is going to have a hard time getting all the food ready on time. When they return, Maranie isn't there, nor has any cleaning been done. Kendra starts cooking the pot roast, and Amber shows up and agrees to bartend at the party. Kendra calls Maranie and learns that she went hiking instead of running errands. Consequently, Kendra enlists Brittany to bring the tablecloth, napkins, and silverware. Another friend, professional chef Laurie, comes to help as well. When Maranie finally comes home, Kendra fires her as her assistant. Kendra invites her mom and grandma to stay for the party, although she isn't sure there will be enough food. Then Hank arrives home with his parents, who he invites to stay as well. The originally expected guests arrive. Kendra also invites Holly Madison, who joins them for dinner as well and gets to meet Hank for the first time. Despite all the stress, the dinner goes reasonably well, and there is enough food for everyone, except that Kendra doesn't get any of the pot roast she made.

When Kendra goes to see her mom (Patti) in San Diego, Patti surprises her with a bridal shower. When everyone raises their glasses for a toast, Kendra announces that she can't drink because she's pregnant. Patti says that she can't pretend that she's happy for Kendra about that, and Kendra runs out of the house. Three weeks later, Patti explains that she married at age 23 like Kendra is doing, her husband left her when her children were young, and she fears that Kendra will repeat her mistakes. Hank and Kendra call Patti and ask her to come to Los Angeles to talk things over. Patti arrives with Kendra's grandma Mary and Kendra's brother Colin. Kendra apologizes for announcing she was pregnant in front of everyone instead of telling Patti first, and everyone reconciles. Later, Kendra and Hank go to his house on the East Coast where they plan to live after their marriage. Kendra calls Hef to tell him she's pregnant, and he congratulates her. Kendra and Hank go to an OBGYN who takes the first ultrasound picture of their baby. Back in Los Angeles, Kendra and Hank receive their wedding invitations and get them ready for mailing.

Kendra and Hank are packing for their impending move back east. Kendra has hired a new assistant, Eddie, who is doing a good job. Bridget Marquardt comes to the house to talk with Kendra and Hank. They discuss Kendra and Hank's honeymoon in St. Lucia, her pregnancy, and favorite moments from the first season, from which clips are shown.
