Kendra tells Monica that if her father sets a date and time, she is willing to go to see him. Regarding Kendra's relationship with Hank, which she describes as being at rock bottom, Monica encourages them to start couples therapy. Kendra goes to see Hank at his apartment. Hank agrees to watch the children while Kendra is in Costa Rica, but Hank's answers to Kendra's questions about their marriage don't satisfy her.
