When it becomes apparent that Kath's divorce from her odious first husband, Gary, was never legal, he moves in to stake his claim. Kath, one stressed bigamist, fears jail, while second hubby Kel finds the threesome a bit crowded, especially around shower time each morning. Kim's husband Brett is volunteering for long hours at the computer store. Could this be related to his new role as father to the lovely Epponnee-Rae? Meanwhile, Kim is loving herself sick as a new mum. She is blown away at how gross Epponnee's motor skills are.

Meanwhile, Kath feels that she and Kel have been too into each other - you know, physically - and they decide to spread their wings (socially that is). While, Kel attends a "meat retreat" butcher's conference and Kath tries to revive her circle of girlfriends, whom she has slighted since her wedding.
