The cadets greet their guests with a welcome song and we meet the folks - Neville's helicopter mum Narelle, who immediately embarrasses her son with OTT mollycoddling; Pounce's dad Hoppo, a delivery roo who thinks Pounce will follow him into the family business; Gemma's Mum Georgie, an energetic former sportswoman spouting motivational quotes to help her daughter seize as many gold trophies as possible; and Frizzy's dads Oakley, a mountaineer, and Russell, a flashy pop star. But things go differently than expected and the cadets wonder if it will ever be the same.
