After the June Taylor dancers hoof their way through "Lollipops and Roses," Jackie discusses "the greatest aggravation in history." Barbara Heller introduces sketches: Rum Dum gives his pet a bath; the Poor Soul learns body building from light heavyweight champ Willie Pastrono; and Reginald Van Gleason III prepares a prize-winning recipe. Frank Fontaine tells Joe the Bartender about the latest science-fiction movie before crooning "Goodnight, Sweetheart".

In his monologue, Jackie contrasts his Brooklyn boyhood with life today. Barbara Heller introduces the sketches: Rum Dum brewing an unusual cup of tea; problems in a beauty parlor; and the Poor Soul's battle with a bellhop (Sid Fields). Reginald Van Gleasons [sic] continues his "vaudeville tour," using self-hypnosis so he can be hurled, unharmed, through a plate-glass window, a bar door and a brick wall.

Reginald Van Gleason III appears as the fiery Gaucho el Whippo in another incredible vaudeville routine; Barbara Heller introduces Newsreel sketches; and Frank Fontaine educates Joe the Bartender on adult education and sings "Oh, How I Miss You Tonight." Jackie offers suggestions to inventors and the June Taylor dancers kick up their heels for "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World."

Sketches: Reggie Van Gleason opens his own night club, where he cavorts to the music of Phil Napoleon's Dixieland band; Rum Dum goes out for an evening of dancing; and the Poor Soul struggles to resist a stupendous banana split. Frank Fontaine describes a neighborhood political rally for Joe the Bartender.

Rum Dum gets into trouble in a luncheonette, and Frank Fontaine tells Joe the Bartender some wild tales of the Northwest Mounties. In his monologue, Jackie reminisces about old monster movies.
