In fact, there's a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major was exonerated for the crimes of the Chaos Killer, but is still considered a pariah. He manages to land a job with the one and only place that will hire him. Meanwhile, Blaine is accused of lying.

After a Dungeons and Dragons club's game-master is poisoned, Liv and Clive learn that his fellow players were bitter about dying during a recent quest. Major receives a letter from Shawna, with falsely accusations against him. Peyton learns more about the dominatrix case. With few leads, Liv organizes a game with Major, Ravi, Clive and Peyton, where Liv has a vision that the victim was a hacker. The FBI takes the case with Clive's ex-girlfriend, Dale Bozzio, as lead. Don E. eats a large part of Blaine's infused brains, has a severe episode at the bar, flees and is captured by Harley's men and brought to Ravi. Baracus is shot at a fundraiser by an unknown militant sniper and nearly loses control before Liv calms him, but the militant escapes. Blaine's rival, Stacey Boss, returns to Seattle looking for revenge, but may have met his vindictive match.

Liv's ensuing paranoia helps discover that Major's sex-mate Shawna has posted even their intimacy on Tumblr, so Major has to dump her. Investigating James Weckler's death Peyton meets with his daughter, a zombie as a vision show. Baracus wins the mayoral election. Rachel Greenblatt, the photographer taking romantic interest in Ravi, is found out a journalist writing about "zombie fanatics", hence also dumped. Clive and Liv get a lead on the whereabouts track missing zombie haters leader Harley to the hidden, underground shelter at his cabin, where Liv experiences a vision showing his innocent in the murder of Wally's family. Before Liv can inform Clive before Harley fires at gun, . Clive's return fire kills Harley, who however survives and is now a zombie.

More questions arise to Liv & the detective as plans are revealed to a more horrific result. Will Seattle be nuked? Will Major become a zombie again? Whose brains will all these new zombie be eating?
