Episode 1
This shows not only the beautiful scenery of Vancouver Island with mountains, rivers, sea shore and forest but we also see how marmots, black bear, wolves, salmon, otters and spiders survive.
Episode 2
This beautiful film depicts turtles, dingles and spiders to name a few. We hear and see the topography of the island and how in 2020 it suffered a terrible wild fire.
Episode 3
Polar bears suffer from the lack of sea ice in summer which enables them to hunt seals from. They have even been seen climbing up rocks to go after nesting birds due to hunger. Climate change is affecting the Arctic more than anywhere on earth, we see Narwhales and Arctic foxes raising their young. We see the first filmed double-horned Narwhale.
Episode 4
Borneo has the tallest tropical rain forest in the world, what's left of it anyway. They also have a Pygmy elephant that has evolved to be smaller due to a lack of food and they are in serious threat of becoming extinct as there are only 1500 of them left. Palm oil groves are a huge business here now and Palm Oil is the most used edible oil in the world. Farmers are chopping down rain forest to grow it and it is having a devastating effect on the wildlife.
Episode 5
The Okavango Delta lies in Botswana where the desert sun battles with floodwaters; every animal, whether termite queen or elephant bull, must cope with the never ending changes in their landscape.
Episode 6
This film concentrates on the wildlife of Sri Lankra along with the seasonal differences and topography. Also we see how human actions affect animals.
