The second series of the name-based comedy panel show commences with a special festive edition. Host Sue Perkins and team captains Richard Osman and Josh Widdicombe are joined by radio and television presenter Danny Baker, Dragons' Den (2005)star Deborah Meaden, comedienne Sara Pascoe and historian Kate Williams. In a special Yuletide twist to the show's usual format, in this Christmas Special instead of various people throughout history who share the same name being the topic of discussion it will be a variety of names which all have a link to Christmas that will feature. Expect fiendish facts about The Queen's traditional Christmas Speech, Delia Smith's cooking and the original Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas.

Sue invites the two teams to battle it out, answering questions, revealing amusing facts, unusual stats and engaging in witty banter as they compete to earn the right to declare the greatest ever bearer of the name Alex. This week team captains Richard Osman and Josh Widdicombe are joined by guests historian Kate Williams, star of Citizen Khan (2012) Adil Ray and broadcasters Danny Baker and Gabby Logan.
